Back in 19 Days early days, I think I've seen posts, about how He Tian was supposed to have a crush on Jian Yi, and even if I don't see the pair romantically I think they should interact more as a duo...
This post is just about pairs I would love to see more often, I'm not shipping 19 Days characters outside of the canon couples but I'm not against it either, everyone can enjoy the manhua the way they want ~ ✧
Having some Zhan Zheng Xi/Mo Guan Shan interactions made me think about that, and imo it could be interesting to see more of those pairs, like exploring funny and emotional situation and conversations, it just feels like it wasn't capitalized enough (for me)!
I LOVE my OT4 (and actually, I need more of it, it's never enough 👹) but it's really exciting to focus on rare interactions and dynamics.
And you know what? Even trios work for me ~
I need more Zhan Zheng Xi/Jian Yi/Mo Guan Shan time... Gimme the Buzzcut/Jian Yi/Mo Guan Shan goofiness too, and I wouldn't spit on some He Tian/Zhan Zheng Xi either.
Serve me some Jian Yi/Mo Guan Shan, the plate will come back brand new, I'm inhaling that sh*t.
Also, I really think it could help for Jian Yi and Zhan Zheng Xi characters (still imo). I enjoy their characters but I sometimes feel like there's a wall between them and He Tian and Mo Guan Shan (in a extradiegetic way?? Idk how to explain that 🫠 but not in a way that they're "not close enough" in the plot, I mean, in the present timeline they're working adults so I get that they cannot fool around all together whenever they want lol)
"Help" in a way that they could be seen by the readers as something else than just comic relief or secondary couple (with no dislike). And yes I know there's also people who don't only read 19 Days for TianShan, but since the plot shifted at some point I think we were all somehow "forced" (I love TianShan too, so no shade) to focus more on them, which fairly explains why a lot of readers would not think of ZhanYi as a couple or/and individual characters on the same level as TianShan (especially if the reason they started reading was for the latest).
To sum it up, it would be a nice way to reinforce their relevance in the story.
And mixing the pairs wouldn't necessarily mean less of the main ships since there could be ways to indirectly mention them (just like in the chapter that just came out).
