I have a horrible disease where I barely ever draw non-ocs, but trust me, I do love Drakengard and Leonard. My rotterific glee isn't just limited to him though! There's a plethora of games that put a twinkle in my eyes and a wrinkle in my smile; I got the variety pack. I don't do reblogs, I don't know why, but I do have silly characters and stuff! I kinda forgot to drop this guy on here, but not really, because I also had more drawings I wanted to do of him that never came to be. And because ArtFight has started, I don't think I will get that opportunity. But golly do I have plans! And that is to slap him in an evil suit. Consider it another one to the pile... I actually haven't even checked my ArtFight cause Walmart's got my ass and I'm lowkey scared cause I don't think I'll be able to retaliate. Only retalieat the curb. But I'll probably stick out a spindly, mangled arm and offer a slice of gravel anyways

I had the day off work today after what felt like eons. But alas, one breath does not mean freedom. I often worry if I ever come off as lazy, and I fear being too selfish, but it came to a point where I mustered up the courage to change my availability. It will change over come July 3rd, so we'll see how that pans out! Working 6 days with a total of 32 or 33 hours from Walmart alone slowly caramelizes my candy ass. Still, I always make the best of my time regardless! This entire week I've felt the gnawing itch to draw Hitmorrison Chandler. And who am I not to scratch? I kinda said fuck the anatomy and pounced on the colors and vibes. I say pounced, but it was a slow process. But definitely super worth it I'd say!

Derelick Vanderlick in all his somewhat derelict glory! I actually had a sketch of this specific drawing made all the way back in September, but I never finished it. And with my track record, they will never be touched again. So I surprise myself sometimes, but in the cool way! I also wanted to try and add a murkiness to the shading, and though I think it could've been murkier, I am satisfied with what I was able to do. Also let it be known that all roads lead to Lowry from Mystery of the Druids for me apparently, even if unintentional. A purple suit and dark yellow dress shirt just look really nice to me. But now I feel tempted to the inevitability of drawing him sitting while floating and Hitmorrison Chandler being a mere onlooker.

I drew this gentrified MC Ballyhoo gambling mascot Victini 4 days ago but kinda forgot to share them. It's probably because I thought I would add shading, but I got lazy and thought they were fine as is. I often don't think about the gender, pronouns, or sexual orientation of my characters, but people were using they/them, and my brain was like "I like the sounds of that" so I rolled with it. Their name Vittorino by the way! And uhhh I don't know what their last or middle name would be, I didn't think that far ahead. Also when I put them on Artfight, I found out there is like a whole battalion of Victini characters with names that start with the letter "V", "Victor" being the most popular. I am but a grain of sand in a child's fruitily-colored bucket with crenellations molded into the bottom for easy crafting of sand castles. But I can smile smugly, for we have commonality in cornballing.

I cut some corners with the conveniently hidden hands and shoddy shading, but I also cunt some corners if you know what I mean. And he's rocking a crop top beneath his dress shirt, because you're apparently supposed to wear an undershirt with your dress shirt. My non-white collar ass has never had a reason to wear one. And it's a crop top because a sliver or fruitiness is mandatory for each of my designs. As anything longer would've disrupted the exposed skin chi he's got going on. I also wanted to try drawing him running his hand through his hair, cause I always wanna do that with my characters, but was always to lazy to do so. But see, with that logic you never get better at it. I could honestly say the same about drawing different body types. I somehow always end up drawing bodies like spindly cigarettes. My goal for the human version of Hitmorrison can be put into four words: Average White American Male. I feel I failed him in that aspect too, but I can smile knowing that I at the very least tried. He can rock his own swag regardless. Yet that "Bodies Come in All Shapes and Sizes" image with the same ass anime girls still haunts my narrative

I've kinda been getting double rawdog employment special, with Walmart being the especially hard hitter. But I've been adjusting and making the best of it (along with some dough hehe)! Taking things as they come and keeping my chin up and whatnot. And I always get quite gassed whenever Friday rolls around because that's the one day I have off. Which means I can do whatever! The whatever in question usually ends up being drawing, but I never have time to finish anything before the work chain drags me off Leon and Teruteru Danganronpa execution style. Yesterday was different though, because what I thought would be another unfinished sketch ended up becoming this! And I am quite proud I was able to lock in. Even if it's a little anatomically wonky in some places, what matters most to me is that I finished it and was able to capture the vibe I wanted to.

I decided to make my lineart more tactically akin to my sketch cause I dug the loose look of it. I've been trying to challenge my style in little ways, and I'm proud of the results! This creature was partially inspired by the Ghost, Erlik, and Blood Wraith enemies from Ore ga Omae o Mamoru (specifically the colors and face)! That game has been my shit for the past month. I recently finished it, and now my focus is on 100%ing everything; so it'll continue to be my shit 😋 It might be too hot off the presses to be making the call, but I'd put it up there with my favorites. It hits all my neurons in all the right places. I'd love to draw Ren, amongst the other characters one of these days, but I am severely ass at complex character designs. I have been trying to challenge myself with that too, but shit, it's tough. Yet shart, I'm tougher.

I was gonna put a suit on him, but then it was gonna cover up all the work I put into those swervy, tapered limbs. He certainly looks very plain without the drip, but I'd take that over him being unfinished. Next time I draw him, I'll bring my C+ game instead of my C- game! But not C++, cause my brain implodes whenever I see numbers and stuff. He is supposed to wear glasses, but refuses to do so out of unspoken vanity. I can't blame him cause bro looks like gentrified Mr. Peabody with them on 😭

I may or may not have been inspired to say fuck it and create a creature cause of this one ram LPS (Littlest Pet Shop) I saw that was a pinkish purple. I liked the vibes of it and shaped it to my own image.

I saw this image and got inspired. And I was feeling extra freaky, so I decided to draw the background too. Y'know, for practice! Cause I certainly don't draw them enough 😭 Also it's kinda crazy my first proper ref for Kelceo is a shitpost, but we cook in the kitchen regardless of the utensils

I said fuck it to anatomy and decided to be a little more stylistic, but somehow the proportions aren't complete ass despite that. I had fun drawing Sin a tad sinister hehehe. I was absolutely overthinking the shading and background though. I tried going for something cool, but somehow the simple ass shading and outline without any funky textures looks way more visually put-together. Maybe one day I'll find a balance between meat blood aura and something more flavorful for the eyes. But the lesson I'll be taking from this for now is "Keep it simple, stupid."

After a mixture of my job hours picking up and my scraps of free time being lackadaisically spent, I finally locked in only to create motherfucking Iarchmybackula over here. I was feeling especially psychotic and merged the color and outline together and did the shading on one unholy layer. I do enjoy the way it turned out though! I actually came up with his color palette by putting the color palette of one of my other characters through a color blindness simulator and choosing the Blue-Blind/Tritanopia option. Something about it spoke to me and I was like "I GOTTA do this with a character." This was back in the spring or summer though, but the vibes were strong enough for me to remember. I am quite glad I remembered it would go really awesome with a vampire type character too! Everything else about this dude's design I made up on the spot. This is going to be an insanely vague dig, but his expression reminded me of the gingerbread queen (who I am still distraught is not a man like I had initially thought for a long time) from Deep Freeze. I also thought about Okage Shadow King, cause he's kinda built like he was from that brothel with the type of cunt he's serving

I got three whole doinks of "animation" going on baybeee. Just for the hell of it. Just for the fun of it. I actually made this dude up on the spot with the sole purpose to practice animating. But I got to the front perspective and shit looked out of sorts, so I cut myself short. Those headphones aren't even connected anymore 😭

I was quite proud of how my dinner came out. So I celebrated this momentous occasion with this very lovely man. I also steamed some broccoli and had some lettuce dinosaur style, but my greedy ass didn't save any for him unfortunately :( Also for the record, I never use salt or seasoning with my cooking cause I like it that way 😋

I always end up having the same yee yee ass side profiles. And I have some fuckass anatomy too, cause I wasn't looking at any refs, as it was meant to just be a sketch. And then I added some flat color for the hell of it and was like "Hm, this looks too flat" and then I guess I added shading and so on. It's kinda ugly, but I feel like it offered some nice practice!

I had expressed my rotterific fascination in Corbeau in a server. And someone said "somewhere out there, theres a CorbeauEevee". I guess it strummed the strings of my neurons like a beautiful harp, cause I felt the inclination to cook up this mean casserole. Corbeau casserole... I don't draw Eevee much, or any quadruped for that matter, but I am quite proud of how it turned out! And how I was able to incorporate the Corbeauisms too :D

I had decided to spend a woeful amount of time replicating some sprites of cool characters/games I like onto Wplace. I'll list them in the order I made them! Asimov, from Azure Striker Gunvolt Ian Recker from Sigma Star Saga Wallachia from Melty Blood, and Theresia! (No character in specific, just the game as a whole cause it fucking rocks.) It feels good to finally wash my hands of Wplace, so I can put my focus back on making my usual art and doing my typical shenanigans. But I don't want to dismiss Wplace entirely. There was lots I had learnt about pixel art and working within limitations (especially with color selection)! And I gotta say, I did have fun with it. It felt like I was getting a knack for things; translating the color palettes in FireAlpaca, establishing a grid, and slowly filling it in via switching tabs and eyeballing measurements. There were external tools that could "help", but I found my own hands more reliable. Plus, I feel like I built up some skill by doing it on my own! Of course, there were many more characters/games I'd love to have smacked onto Wplace, but alas, I had to keep my work small, and therefore my aspirations. But I'm still very proud of what I was able to accomplish!
