Clean version of a comic I drew in history class

i really wish we could have seen what was behind that door in jax’s head that was locked up. like. i think every door was obviously a hypothetical, extreme scenario of how jax would react to each different member of the circus abstracting, and i think that the locked door could either be what would happen if ragatha abstracted, or what would happen if pomni abstracted.

it’s more likely that it’s pomni, since her relationship with jax is a focal point of the show and since we got the ‘i’d forget about you, and probably move on’ voiceline. but it would also be interesting if it were ragatha, someone he used to be sort of friends with, and maybe would leave jax with some big issues if she abstracted.

either way, i loved the finale, i really did, but i wanted a little more closure on jax’s storyline, because it felt a little… forgotten about? in the end? i wanted to see behind the locked door, i wanted it to either be shown that he is with the other abstractions, or have something hinting at the possibility of him being restored to normal.

Here's the third comic in the Open World AU. I decided it would be more interesting if the cast also had some limited ability to conjure and worldcraft, so I wanted to explore that. This comic is both the longest I've done yet and is the most involved painting-wise. I hope it was worth the wait!
