"Through there. Where you came in."
"Jenny, it's [Name]. Put me through to [Name], will you?"
"[Name] isn't here right now, I'm afraid."
"Don't ask. Look, d'you think you can find her for me?"
"Good luck with the hunt."
"Perhaps we could share it."
"You're not much help, [Name]."
"I wanted to be the first to meet you."
"It's exciting. I mean, a ghost hunter..."
"No, it isn't really. How did you know who I was?"
"I'll wait for you outside."
"I have no problem with that all all – you should see me at home."
"And the so-called investigations you're involved in?"
"But others can mean weeks, even months of painstaking study."
"True enough. Let's be honest though, they're the ones we like."
"Not as much as I used to be."
"Why should it be a secret? You're divorced, he's unmarried, you see a lot of each other – a reasonable assumption for people to make, wouldn't you agree?"
"You sound like you're on the side of the sceptics."
"You don't? Surely you've suspected? Goodness, you know him too well not to."
"Level-headed? Is he really, [Name]? Are you honestly that sure of him?"
"Permit me to introduce myself."
"You've done your own research."
"Do you have a detailed map of the estate?"
"Oh, Christ. You won't need anything like that. The problem really is inside. Look, we ought to tell you what each of us has seen..."
"You're a guest as long as you wish."
"She was that keen to meet me?"
"She enjoys her little games. They all enjoy their games."
"If you need anything, just let me know – my living quarters are on the floor above this one."
"Are you ready to see around the house now?"
"But the things she told the woman..."
"They must have been furious when they saw how it was done."
"I'd shattered their hopes. They weren't going to thank me for that."
"What happened after? You must have been disillusioned yourself."
"Are you alright? You were telling us of our son..."
"You'd be surprised how what may seem like ghostly forms can be caused by dust or smoke."
"Can such manifestations physically harm us?"
"Not usually. Any harm is generally caused by the witnesses to themselves when they panic."
"You may not necessarily experience what we experienced."
"What, exactly, is that?"
"A very interesting proposition."
"No less than the idea of ghosts."
