good day here is my theory on why ramb has zero merch and has yet to show up in castle town
Hi guys uhm I came up with this last night and it was just me fucking around with a friend. But the more I thought, the more I realized "wait I'm kind of onto something"
So 3 weeks ago, Fangamer announced new merch for Deltarune. And Ramb, an NPC in TV World, had absolutely no merch announced for him. He wasn't even in a poster. Now, as a Ramb fan, this is heartbreaking, but also, confusing? He's gotten so much love from the fanbase, so clearly there's a market, but nothing is made for him. At first, I was angry, but then, I think I came up with a reason why he was absent:
We aren't done with him yet! There's more to see of Ramb!
My evidence? ROUXLS KAARD.
He was in the game since chapter 1, and he barely got anything. Now, it wasn't a complete drought like it was for Ramb, that I can admit. He appeared in a poster, and was released in one of the pin sets, but thats it. And even then its kind of minor.
That was, however, until 3 weeks ago! When he got his own plushie with the chapter 3 characters! Chapter 3 was his last appearance! So of course he only got a plush recently! The very same could apply to Ramb!
"But what could toby do with him anymore"
You know those fanmade ramb secret boss designs where he turned into a werewire? Yeah.
(Unfortunately this wasn't part of my plan but I do think the thought of Ramb returning as the secret boss in chapter 6 could be very interesting. A YouTuber by the name of Bubba Chungus made a video on where Ramb could be and I thought it was pretty cool. Give it a watch!)
Could I be desperate and deluded? Definitely. Maybe they just really hate him. But I have hope that somehow, he'll come back, and finally get the apperication he deserves. Please toby fox i really need this
This is gonna sound really stupid, but my brother thought that since Ramb doesn't appear in any merch, doesn't have a shop sprite, and is notably missing, that he's in the bunker. And in Chapter 7 he'll be the main shop keep and plushie of the chapter.
I don't really 100% agree with this, but I do think Ramb will reappear. Please give my boy a plush btw I love him.
No no your brother is onto something but I dont think he'll be a shopkeeper in the shelter (at least not for long). Was thinking that him being forced to fight us and becoming a more powerful werewire would be pretty cool!
Even if he does get some alternate form we'd (probably) still get a plushie of his regular form. Even if its just a clip on plush like what pluey and battat got. He doesn't even have to have a plushie at all actually just give me SOMETHING.
My headcanon is that Asgore spawned into the Dark World with his sick ass armor but after meeting up with flowery he forced Asgore to wear this boring ass shirt and sweats
Which I get that Flowery would be trying to make Asgore more comfortable so he can relax but with how stylish Flowery is you’d expect him to dess Asgore a bit nicer so what the hell Flowery
