Sage felt suddenly very defensive, “hey! Maybe you’re the dick!” She feels a bit nervous cursing, but whoever this ‘Ed’ is definitely deserves it. “Dean and Sam are good people!”

Alice looks at her in surprise at the swear - she seemed a bit innocent to her, even in this line of work. But her gaze quickly flickers to Ed, who looks a bit shocked, and a little offended that his opinion is being challenged. "Maybe," he relents, "but they're rude. We have a job, and we were here first."

I feel like they are four types of people and it all comes down to how they cope with winter.

- The ones who become physically ill, like with the flu and stuff and need to be snuggled and looked after.

-The ones who become incredibly depressed and morose and need to be snuggled and looked after.

-People who literally animorph into bears and spent most of the time sleeping and eating and are a bit grumpy but otherwise are okay and are happy to snuggle and look after people.

-Winter court fae who suddenly gain energy and powers from nowhere and are too busy brushing frost onto leaves and dancing ice on lakes and stealing newborn babies to care about anyone else really.

ok but listen i really want a modern romeo and juliet plot. the capulet and montague families both own rivalling businesses set in london or nyc or la or somewhere industrial. romeo and juliet met at some elite party that neither of them were supposed to be at, and thus begins their immediate attraction and soon-after hidden love entanglement. they meet in the nooks and crannies of the city, places that their families would never think to look for them; they walk about the city in an almost disguise, under fake names so that they can enjoy themselves like normal people. it’s an illicit romantic affair, a forbidden love that can never come up to surface. they’re starcrossed lovers and no-one loves harder than them.

Sage looks up, surprised. “Oh! Uh, nice to meet you, I’m Sage.” She shakes Alice’s hand, “so, um, you’re a Ghostfacer?”

Alice nods enthusiastically, always proud of her title, of her group. She cares a lot about them, and as long as no one insults them, she’s more than pleasant company.

“Pleasure’s all mine. And yeah, I’m the newest on the team… How are you related to the Winchesters? I’m sorry if that’s intrusive, by the way.”

Sage stares, raising her eyebrows slightly. “Well, um, they kinda took me in a while back due to…” she pauses trying to decide on a quick way to say everything, “an incident.” She nods to herself then concludes, “So we aren’t blood related but they’re the closest thing I have to family.”

Alice smiles and nods slightly in understanding. “I’ve heard a lot about them.” She doesn’t mention that most of it was insults, considering how much her team hates them. “They seem like the kind of guys that are only really nice to people they’re close to. Or maybe just not to us Ghostfacers,” she says with a small laugh.

Sage smiles nervously, “oh? I mean I suppose but they’ve always been really good to me.” She nods awkwardly, “I guess I can see how they wouldn’t be as friendly towards you guys, I’ve been told that you’ve gotten in the way of their job a few times.”

“I’ve always heard it the other way around,” Alice says with a small laugh. “But I suppose that’s just the way it is. The other Facers don’t like them all that much - or, at all, really - but personally, I’ve always been interested in them. Not really sure why…” She gazes over at the brothers, expression a bit wistful. “Do they take you on a lotta hunts?”

Sage nods as she listens. “Yeah and I get to go with them on all the hunts but I don’t really get to participate. I can help research and sometimes I can watch them fight but I don’t get to fight,” she explains. “I’m okay with that, I just like being able to go with them.”

Alice smiles slightly and nods. "Sort of like a cheerleader, then." It sounds similar to her role in the group at the beginning - staying on the sidelines, rooting for them. It was nice, but she was itching to actually contribute and prove herself. Ed walks over then, looking pissed. "Honestly, who do they think they are?!" Alice rolls her eyes. "They're not that bad, Ed." "And I'm Buffy Summers. Seriously, Alice, they're dicks!" She raises her eyebrows at him, glancing a bit awkwardly at Sage, but he doesn't notice, muttering curses and insults to himself.

Alice didn’t really know what to expect out of meeting Dean Winchester. Sure, she’d expected the cockiness, but the boys never mentioned how damn attractive he was. It really caught her off guard. She feels her cheeks redden, and she rolls her eyes. “D’ya really need me to repeat it? I mean you don’t seem like the super-fucking-hot-but-a-complete-idiot type… Not that I’d mind.”

It's really unfair that he's so handsome - how is she expected to stay focused? "I'm, ah, Alice, by the way," she adds reaching out her hand for him to shake.
