Very well, I see no better time than now to diversify, so let's actually dust off this old account and talk about what I'm up to:
Since early-ish 2020, I've been making a first-person, stealth-action immersive sim called HEARTRENDER, visually inspired by 90s pre-rendered graphics and the surrealist movement from the early-to-mid 20th century. You can swing between buildings with a tentacle arm. You can throw furniture at people as a viable combat strategy. You can sneak around abandoned island-towns under dim bisexual lighting. It's a chaotic first-person sandbox where the player gets to conduct the orchestra.
It's deep in development right now, as I intentionally chose to frontload my work so that later I can focus on expanding the sandbox and creating new tools and opportunities to interact with it, rather than waste time fixing up core gameplay much later. This is a rolling process and, after knocking down major hardships as a novice developer things are going very well.
I'll try to add updates here alongside my other profiles, for the sake of added reach. With that said, I'd appreciate also following me in my YouTube channel and Twitter if you're so inclined, as every bit of engagement helps.
