The roseate of surprise bloomed through the numerating veins of a swimming fear, and as he peered up to the ghost, he found the deep twinges of himself in the other, like a dream, or perhaps, a nightmare. And as he opened his mouth, he could only coerce but one thing.

Wulf tilted his head to the side in confusion. His friend didn’t know what he was? Not only that, but he seemed… A f r a i d.

But how? He knew Wulf wouldn’t harm him.

Wulf took a small step forward, reaching out with one paw.

Ceremoniously, he allowed himself the perchance of remembrance, and with so, the gritting of white upon white choked back a bouquet of regret that settled betwixt his throat and windpipe.

"I watched you leave....you didn't come back..." A shudder comes from fearful lips, while eyes flash upon days of a lost past.

He was granted, smarter than the visions that berated him with the memories of what he once knew, and Though the days, long after the blight came may rattle him around. He knew what he saw when Wulf went up with the others, and didn't come back down. He was smarter than his mind. He was sharper than those visions. He would not be dragged down once more.
