Can I request grey house x male reader fluff or smut is fine , if that's not too much
Yessss honestly i was in the mood to write some fluff but if this turns out slightly bitter sweet erm,,,, i can only apologize hgdhdghjfjgh i can only write House so much before he goes out of character HAHAHA
Within his arms.
Tags: Greg House x M!reader, Greg House, male!Reader, doctor!reader, Allison Cameron, Robert Chase, Eric Foreman, fluff, slight OOC on House's side whoops, Cuddling, Bantering, just pure cuteness and maybe bittersweet at the end.
The tests are done, and the results are on House’s desk. Surely he wouldn't mind you taking a short nap before checking in with the patient, right?
Dr. Tenma // PLUTO
I'm going to be honest, I did not have Dr Tenma from Urasawa's Pluto on my bingo card for the internet's "Sexualize that Old Man" amusement, but here we are

Homesteader Rick
HEIST
As a British citizen myself, I needed to make a Victorian version of Tenma.
To be quite honest, he looks rather elegant in his new attire.
Though I do wonder how Astro boy could work in this era, how it would be adapted to the absence of the technology in the original work.
He look like a vampire 🧛
That’s why I like you best
Assassin!Male!Reader x Rick Sanchez
Warning ⚠️: alcoholism, Rick being Rick, toxic relationship.
credit @cafekitsune
Being C137’s ex always came with a price. His enemies were yours on top of receiving letters telling you to go fuck yourself. For an assassin like you, it was nothing, just an annoyance that happened once in a while. And crossing paths with Rick was always a fun time. The insults, the fighting and the hate sex just after? Incredible. You missed that misery.
Because the breakup hadn't been mutual, it instead came out of nowhere. One day Rick was passed out on your lap, the next he ran away saying it was over. No explanation, no closure for you. Just anger and insult each time you two met.
But it was better than indifference.
There were times when you sought him, still hoping to have answers, other times when you just wanted a good fight.
And today wasn't one of those days.
It was supposed to be a simple job, quick and easy.
“Really, darling, pointing a gun at me? After everything we went through?” you asked, pushing the gun away from your face only for Rick to point it back and press the barrel under your chin. “I can’t tell if you are flirting or threatening me… that’s kinda hot, by the way.”
You saw it, that little flicker of darkness in Rick’s eyes as he dug the barrel deeper into your skin. He always hated that flirting you would do when he tried intimidating you.
“Darling?” Jerry choked, almost falling off his chair.
“What is going on? Who is it, this time?” Beth asked, arms crossed.
So you weren't the first unannounced visitor. That sweet little family had more than once met Rick’s acquaintance it seemed.
You leaned on the side, even when Rick traded the gun for his hand, fingers tightly wrapping around your neck.
“Sorry for coming unannounced. It seems there was a misunderstanding in my contract. Hope I didn't ruin dinner!” you said, smiling as Rick pushed you away. “I would never take a contract targeting my ex’s family!”
“Wait, you're one of Rick’s exes? How did he fumble you?” Summer asked, grinning.
“Summer, shut the fuck up!” Rick snapped as you opened your arms wide.
“Long story short, he stopped showing up and broke up with me by trying to kill me,” you replied and the family didn't seem impressed.
“Yep, sounds like Rick,” Morty said and returned his attention to his plate.
“Fuck you, Morty!” Rick snarled trying to pull you away to the garage.
But you resisted, simply grabbing and throwing him over your shoulder. The handle of the gun hit your skull, hard, fresh blood rolling down your temple as you sat him down and stole a turkey leg from his plate.
This was a little revenge.
“So, I take it y'all are used to Ricky’s shenanigans,” you said, voice trailing off before biting into the turkey leg. Skin crunchy and yet so juicy. “My compliments to the cook!”
“Yeah, you are like the fifth guy this week to show up like that. At least you didn't blow up the table. And thanks, the secret is ginger,” Beth said, returning to her own meal.
You rested your elbow on Rick’s head, ignoring every punch he gave your side.
The fifth one.
You looked down, your ex finally meeting your gaze and you understood what was going on. The fool had been behind the contract, but why? The fact that it had taken so many attempts for you to get it was worrying. Rick wasn't that careless usually. On the contrary; he always played you, knowing you better than yourself.
So you looked closer.
The way the dark circles were deeper, eyes glassy and the stench unusually worse than normal. The weird sweetness of alcohol in his breath, or weirder than it should be. The blueness around his lips and their dryness. Yes. Something was wrong.
“Well, guess I’ll have to find my guy and teach him a lesson or two. Again, sorry for showing up unannounced, this isn't my thing,” you said, ruffling Rick’s hair. “So, you are showing me the door or?”
Rick grabbed you by the collar and pulled you away as Morty and Summer waved you goodbye. They were cute kids, you thought, feeling a bit jealous that Rick had such a nice family and wasn't caring for them. Putting them in danger for no good reason. Because you had understood pretty well what was happening, that Rick was behind that contract, but why?
You almost lost your balance when Rick pushed you inside the garage, slamming the door behind him. He pointed an angry finger at you, his hand shaking and yet no words came out. You sat on the workbench, crossing your arms, not impressed.
“Honestly, I could ask what’s wrong with you, but we would be here for hours. And I don't feel like playing therapist with you today. So, how many contracts did you send?” you asked as Rick pulled out a flask from his pocket and drank most of it.
“Nine?” he replied, more a question than an answer, throwing the flask at your head, but you caught it. “Didn't think you would actually come!”
“Well, someone wrote different names, so I had no idea this was your family, Rick! I thought you were sending me to clean your mess again!” you snapped.
The scientist just flipped you off and you threw back his flask at him.
No matter how long after Rick left, you just couldn't move on. You always showed up when he needed it, no matter the insults and the fights. A part of you loved that misery. Pain was better than nothing. Than indifference.
You tensed as Rick rushed toward you, hands gripping your collar. His face mere inches from yours sent a shiver down your spine. Without realizing it, your own hands found his sides, holding gently, making sure the drunkard wouldn't fall. He raised his trembling fist, ready to strike, and yet didn't. Instead, he hit your chest, weak, a sigh escaping him.
He was trying to start a fight. To take out whatever anger had built up inside him. One you didn't want to join in for once, because you could see too much pain in his eyes right now. One that the alcohol and anger couldn't hide anymore.
He shook you, hard, your head hitting the wall with a loud thud.
“And why do you do it? Why do you always come?” he asked, snarling as you kept him up when his knees gave in. “After all those fights and everything I did?”
“Because unlike you, I can’t just throw everything away. I still don’t know what the fuck happened between us because you won't talk to me without trying to bite my head off!” you snapped, finally grabbing him by the collar as well. “I loved you and still love you, you fucking self-destructive bastard. And if you don’t love me anymore, fine, but don't ask me to sit back and watch you kill yourself because I just can't!”You jumped down from the workbench and, before Rick could react, spun around to sit the genius on it. “But I get it now. You don’t want love, you want the bite and the fight and the shouting because it makes you forget the pain and the emptiness, just like the alcohol and the drugs. But guess what? It won't. Diane is dead, because of another you, and there is nothing you can do to change that, Rick. She is not coming back, neither is your Beth.”
The punch did not surprise you nor did it faze you. You just turned your head back, staring into Rick’s eyes, at the way his chest rose and fell so fast. Too fast. Too much was going on in the man’s brain and you were the perfect target, the perfect target for him to let it all out.
And yet, you couldn't hit back. You wanted to, but couldn't. You always hated seeing Rick bloody and hurt, so to be the source of his pain?
“I don’t know what the fuck happened in that brain of yours, but you need to talk to me, Rick. Talk to me,” you hissed and Rick snarled, kicking you, trying to get away from you.
“Fuck you!” he shouted and you pulled him until your nose brushed his.
“Fuck me yourself, you coward!” you said, voice low. “You wanted me here, Rick. You've put your own family in danger because you wanted my dumbass to come here. So talk to me!”
Tears rolled down Rick’s cheeks, crystalline, as he looked away. You sighed and cupped his face in your hands, thumbs drying his cheeks.
“If you wanted us to fight, you should've just said it. I would've bought you those fancy drinks you like in that dumb dimension with the dick trees and we would've gotten drunk…” You said, voice trailing off as Rick snorted and closed his eyes, leaning into your touch.
“That's why I broke up with you. You are too good to me, too much and I cannot handle it,” he sighed.
You blinked, not knowing what to say. It was the dumbest reason you ever heard, and yet it fitted Rick perfectly. Afraid of love, of being loved again. You leaned, pressing your forehead against his.
“Rick Sanchest, the brightest man in every universe and the most broken too,” you chuckled. “You idiot. You are the reason you cannot have anything nice.”
He snorted again and you sighed, pulling away. Rick opened his eyes, red, puffy and so tired. Things weren't fine between you two, obviously, but it was a nice step: Rick admitting something without cursing you.
You blinked and looked away, toward the door now open where four heads were peeking, staring at you. You shook your head as Rick jumped down, dusting himself. You had all but forgotten about his family and didn't imagine they would intrude on this conversation.
“So, you are staying tonight, right?” Summer asked with a grin.
“No, he is not! He got people to murder and drinks to buy,” Rick replied, pushing you toward his spaceship while you chuckled.
“Well, I could stay the night and go on my merry way tomorrow…” You said and Rick groaned.
“NO!” Rick grunted.
“Yes, he is staying!” Beth’s voice joined in as she crossed her arms. “Dad, your… ex is staying. It’s late, he probably didn't eat and he probably needs some rest.”
“Yes Ricky, I’m hungry and tired,” you whined, leaning against him before he pushed you off.
“You are sleeping on the sofa!” he said.
“Aw, don’t want to share your bed?” you asked, getting flipped off for your only answer.
Evening in the Smith’s house was a strange thing. Beth heated you a plate and you ate it while watching TV with the whole family. Rick ignored you while the kids asked questions: how did you meet, what is it like to be an assassin? They asked for fun stories about their grandpa, trying to get some blackmail and you almost gave in.
But you didn't, partially because you wanted to keep these for yourself. Like that time Rick wore a crop top and some Hello Kitty pants because he had caught some kind of flu. That time he drank laxatives instead of an aphrodisiac and ended up all night on the toilet. There were many, many more and none left your mouth.
You felt Rick’s eyes on you the whole time when you shared a few fun stories -the time he locked himself inside the shower for example- and he finally joined in, giving his side of those stories. It felt good, familiar.
Then one by one they all went to bed.
Beth first, Jerry second, then Summer. You carried Morty to bed once the boy fell asleep against your side as you brushed his hair and listened to his stories. Rick watched, walked behind you as you carried his grandson. Once Morty was safely tucked in bed, Rick took your hand and led you to his bedroom. You knew nothing would happen, and yet couldn't contain a shiver as the genius undressed you until you were only in your underwear. You helped him do the same before dropping on the cot.
Rick lay down next to you, his head on your chest as you wrapped your arms around him. Too thin, too cold and stinky, and yet still the same man you loved. You had missed this, that familiar weight against you.
You caressed his back, fingers tracing his spine as Rick melted against you and you did the same. Closing your eyes, you savoured the moment.
“Don’t you hate me?” Rick asked, voice muffled by your chest.
“I could never hate you, Rick, no matter what. Find you stupid and question myself about your mental health? Yeah, sure. Never hate,” you sighed.
“You should,” Rick replied with a burp.
You snorted, kissing his head.
“Shut up and sleep. You’ll hate yourself enough for the both of us in the morning,” you whispered, knowing just how true those words were.
Rick mumbled something, probably an insult, but you soon felt his body going slack, relaxing as he fell asleep in your arms. For what felt like an eternity, you stayed awake, watching, until sleep became too strong and you too fell asleep, finally feeling you were back home.
House MD, I guess
We don’t have enough angst on tumblr…
Like, for real! Sometimes I need my lil heart to be crushed and thrown in the woodchipper, but I only find fluff and sex…
Like do you realize the amount of trauma some characters have outside the movies/series????
My biggest exemple is Steve Rogers because a lot of people forget dude got stuck in another dimension raising a baby then watched his girlfriend shot and killed ( he got better) his kid, then she got stuck in that world while he returned only for her to get free and be an old woman… because HE doesn't age! (Captain America (Vol. 7) starting with Issue #1 (2012) )
Like, dude, can you imagine the nightmares poor Steve has?
The real Civil War comic was so much more tragic and bloody too. The amount of kids and heroes dying, the bullshitting Tony does (Fucking cloned Thor, wtf mate???) with Reeds.
All to say, our pookies went through hell and we should use it way more to write angst!
Like give me Logan having a nightmare and accidentally stabbing his SO who was trying to wake him.
Jean just losing it and hurting her SO with her power so badly they end up in a coma.
Snape repeating history and calling his dearest person a slur, again, or saying way too hurtful things.
I need recommendations if y'all have them!
Especially writers who write a lot of angst ❤️
“U think House is a bottom bc u r ableist and don’t think disabled people can top blah blah blah” no I think he’s a bottom bc of that one scene where him and Wilson r talking abt blood types and Wilson says his blood type is the universal receiver so House responds that Wilson’s blood type is the universal donor which is why he has 3 alimonies
