Album Review: The Morning Does Not Exist by Ghostmod (2018)
Ghostmod is a band based out of Sheffield, England. The best way I can describe their sound is electronic music with some occasional scream vocals. There were at times while listening to this album that I thought I heard Skrillex, but they were few and far between. The music was very steeped in electronic sounds and the themes were varied, but dark. I’ll admit that it was a bit tough at times for me to get really into the music. There was a denseness to the production that made things hard to differentiate. Yet, I see potential. The lyrics were well crafted, and what you heard resonated. I encourage you to check out this band especially if you are into electronic music. They seem like a band that is oriented to create well crafted music. Links to their bandcamp and tumblr are below.
