There’s occasionally some rando who does. Sam doesn’t usually have to step in because I’m pretty firm (while still being polite as possible) that I’m taken. She does sometimes step in if they don’t take the hint.

Nah, not really. It did at first, for like the first few months, but I got over it. I am a little more adverse to getting shocked, though, than other stuff. 0/10 would not get electrocuted again.

Question: Does your half-ghost status affect your growth? Like, I heard you were 5’2” when you were 14, and I’ve seen your gigantic dad. I’m just curious because one of my friends, who is six feet and needs a blow to his ego, is pretty sure he’s taller than you. I don’t know why he’s proud of that, but it was pretty funny to point out to him that you could fly. He just started sputtering and left. Funniest shit I’d seen all week, yo.

Honestly, we expected I’d shoot up like a weed at some point, because my dad was the same way-- short and then WHAM, tall at around sixteen, except only I turned out a lot more like a beanpole instead of his stocky frame, but tall all the same. My half-ghost status could have had an impact, but really, I don’t know for sure.

Also, please tell your friend that I’m sorry for bruising his ego.
