Found this to be rather well presented and informative so thought I'd share :)
Using the Tarot to influence the law of attraction.
So i had an idea of a different way to use the tarot. Normally people just shuffle and deal (or whatever method they use for picking cards) then read and decide what they need to change.
Instead, pick the cards you DESIRE for each position and use it as a sort of meditation device. Helps focus your mind on what you want vs 'what is' so you can start to attract the desired end results. For example, in a relationship read (way back I posted a spread for seeing how they feel about you in each category of 'friend/romance/sexual/overall') you could place 3 of Cups for Friend, 10 of Cups for Romance, Knight of Wands Sexuality (take your pick, plenty could work here), and The Lovers overall. Then you'd focus on that being reality. Maybe not with a specific person, but just as a general meditation "what I want" thing
Another version would be do a normal reading, then whatever cards you don't like, place a card which represents the desired result crossing it. By selectively placing the desired outcome as a crossing card it's sort of saying "Okay, the spread is what it is...... now this is what I want it to turn into!"
I'm sure there are plenty of things similar to this already out there but I just kind of thought of this earlier and thought I'd share :)
My Philosophy on Relationships
Relationships that are give-and-take are doomed to fail because there is an expectation of repayment in some way. This expectation leads to, however subtly it might be, a tally of debt on each side. This kind of relationship can only lead to a slow steady escalation if one party ever feels continuously shorted however slightly it might be.
A real relationship however, is where two people freely give everything they are to the other with no expectations or demands in return. Love is the currency of creation itself and is endless in supply. When the flow is free, there is no pretext for limitation and as such becomes a self-sustaining force through which both persons are allowed to freely and fully express themselves with each other. Since both are giving freely from a universal constant, they become aligned to a much higher energy than the base form of love many experience allowing them to enter a more fully spiritual love and appreciation for each other as well as the world around them. This in turn allows them both to grow together and to act as an example for the world.
When the world gives instead of takes, there will be boundless peace for all.

Not even animals. Animals don't have a tendency to bring harm to their own kind (or in fact any other living being) without some sort of rational reasoning such as food or protection of young. Even in most territory or mating disputes, things rarely turn fully lethal, they assert themselves as the clear decisive victor and be done with it as the loser surrenders/flees.
Only humans go out of their way to kill for sport on a regular basis. Only humans derive some kind of sick twisted pleasure from the suffering of others. Only humans feel the need to deprecate another being to such depths that they commit suicide for their own petty ego.
On the flip side, humans are not the only ones to care for others outside their own species. Dolphins do it all the time, as do many primates. Even felines and rabbits on occasion get along and in fact mate (Cabbits in the wild are rare but they do occur) so the 'humans are also compassionate' argument doesn't really apply since it's not exclusive to us by far.
Humans aren't animals, that's an insult to the majority of the animal kingdom. One day humans as a whole will learn to be like them, in the mean time enjoy the ones you meet who truly are.

Photoshop Lightroom Tip: Color Labels
So this is completely off subject for my blog (whats new? lol) but I notice a lot of people have a hard time using color labels as far as "what to use them for?" so here is one of my label sets:
Red: Work Needed - Basically I'll be taking this into the develope module to see if it's salvageable. If not it'll go into the reject flag pile.
Yellow: Decent - Pictures that are alright. Snapshotty type pictures go here.
Green: Good - It's a good picture, not mind blowingly good, but I'd definitely add it to a photoset if i was to be playing show-and-tell among family and friends.
Blue: GREAT - These are the best of the best. Combined with 4-5 stars they are the portfolio tier pictures.
Violet: Touchup Needed - Similar to red, except these are already good pictures but they need develope module work in a far more extensive level. Usually Reds get re-labeled to Violet if I deem it worth the time to work on it later.
Now you might be wondering "why not just use stars?" that's because I use this as a general sorting. Stars I get far more obsessive over and am the type who debates for prolonged periods "Is this a 2 or a 3?" but using color labels I can quickly sort them into the rough quality settings right away and use stars to fine-tune later.
Usually stars work out in the following way:
Yellow: 1-2
Green: 3-4
Blue: 4-5
Since Red and Violet are purely placeholders to indicate I need to process the image further no stars are really applicable for them.
I realize many use color labels for things like "Client", "Published", "Personal", or what have you but I just use a combination of non-exporting keywords and smart-collections for that.

Clearing the area
So I'm clearing up a lot of negative stuff lately. Some of this includes:
unfollowing people who chronically are posting negatives (I warned ya'll I'd be doing this! Tired of all this racism/rape/sexism/rioting junk on my dash. Offer real solutions or you are only causing the problem to get worse - refresh yourselves on how the Law of Attraction works)
Being less tolerant of negative people in my life (big problem area for me I'm working on not letting them just bulldoze me)

Getting back in tune with my crystals! :D (Got muh Rose Quartz on my chest, it's fuzzy feeling ^^ )

General cleaning (not doing so well on this one lately XD)
The reason for this whole negativity purge? Honestly, I'm getting messed with hard by something. It's been tanking my energy, my mood, and generally causing problems.
I'm not one to instantly jump to "OMG DEMON!!" but I am suspecting some form of negative energy beings causing me grief last few months (heck most of this year) and now it's really getting out of control inducing some rather unpleasant thoughts and feelings that are uncharacteristically negative/dark.
So the obvious solution is remove negatives, generate more positives, and continue being awesome :) Good time for it anyway with the whole winter solstice and all

I'm laughing so hard at this right now because some guys actually think like this. It's sad and pathetic yes, but it's also funny in a sorta twisted way XD Probably the same group who think foreplay is "Jam it in and treat her like a mechanical bull!" I really feel bad for your girls having to deal with guys like that. :(
I'm pretty sure the culture values that says "brutal dismemberment for entertainment is fine, but breasts are evil" leads to this kind of mind-numbing ignorance of the female body.
