Okay so… I’ve been quiet because I realized this little mini SAL needed a name and a bit more structure — but not too much, don’t worry.

So I’m officially calling it the Hex and Snacks SAL 💀👻💅

It’s a series of spooky-kawaii minis — ghosties, haunted snacks, cursed icons, you name it. Think of it like a creepy sticker sheet you stitch one piece at a time. Ghost Heart was just the first club member 💘

Pattern #2 is coming next, and let’s just say… it’s got attitude 😈

btw I’ve found these stretches from the WAK blog very helpful when knitting a lot:

Plus make sure to take breaks regularly - and stop if anything starts to hurt!

especially with gift knitting I know it can be tempting to push through it for a deadline, but it’s really not worth causing long term injury. (And anyone knit-worthy should be understanding of that, imho.) Stay well :)

✨ 1st pattern FINALLY ready! ✨

It’s finally here — the first pattern for my little spooky SAL! Thank you all for being patient while I dusted off my Tumblr brain and got everything ready. I’m still getting used to this whole space again!

Quick intro in case we haven’t met — I’m obsessed with horror, true crime, ( That’s all I watch so I do run out of things to watch! So if anyone knows of any good true crime/horror/ thriller/ mystery show or movie let me know! Hopefully I haven’t watched it yet!) I also love cross stitching (obviously), my dog, the color black, hot pink, and literally everything 90s. If you’re into any of that let’s be friends!

This SAL will have 4 free patterns total — super simple, spooky-cute little pieces to stitch for fun. I am very very new at making patterns so there may be a few mistakes (hopefully not that’s why i took so long to double check!) but please don’t be too critical! I’m still very new at the whole pattern making process and I’m learning on my own so feel free to give me feedback! I’ll be releasing them every… well, whenever they’re ready. 😅 I don’t wanna rush or pressure myself, but I will finish all 4 — so stick around if you want ‘em!

In the meantime, I’d love to get to know you all too — feel free to tell me what you love (or what spooky thing you’re currently stitching)!
