The delicate flowers of Narcissus romieuxii (Romieux hoop petticoat daffodil) are best found blooming in a cold glasshouse, bulb frame or alpine house in free-draining compost. This small bulbous perennial needs to dry out completely during summer dormancy and being repotted into damp compost in early autumn.
