𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 ( gigi & nico )
WHO @giannastone and nico abrams. WHEN tuesday-ish WHERE nico’s room / abrams residence.
GIGI AND NICO weren’t exactly a friendship that made a lot of sense on paper, but since they were decently young, they had each other. gigi was no stranger to the abrams household, so as she unexpectedly entered nico’s room, nico didn’t move a muscle from her perched position on her bed where she sat reading a magazine. calmly, she set it down, then scooted over to the side so gigi could sit and instantly they got to talking. it was a conversation characterized by lots of laughter and getting sidetracked thanks to nico’s wandering mind, but eventually, they got to what nico assumed gigi had come over to talk about anyhow.
with her hands excitedly clasped to her chest, nico sat up a little. the level of gushing she was about to do made her feel like she was at the girls sleepover in some movie like grease, and she loved it. just to clarify she hadn’t messed up any of the details or made them more fantastical in her head, she asked, “so he really decorated your house with signs, then serenaded you? he asked you to be his valentine? what happened then, you have to tell me more!” she demanded with whimsy and her tone as she bounced a little on her bed and tugged at gigi’s arm. “i wish he had done all of that before candyland! no offense, but tracy wasn’t even hanging out with you. i mean i know i left early, but i barely even saw him.” a little frown. hardly noticing how she’d drifted from the original topic, she asked another question, “was your valentine’s day nice at least?”
if she had the choice between being at her house vs. being literally anywhere else, gigi would never go home. she loved her parents. they treated her well, went out of their way to give her what they could, and they loved each other.. but there was something so depressing about being confined to such a plain, lackluster bedroom. it hadn’t been a surprise to davis when she prompted him to drop her off at the abrams household, and it had hardly been a surprise to artie when he opened the door to reveal one gianna stone. “hey bitch,” she called as she forced her way into nico’s space.
“he did,” gigi replied, trying her hardest to keep her cool. nico had known the ins-and-outs of the gigi/davis debacle time and time again, but gigi never liked to show all her cards at once. “i said yes, of course,” she rolled her eyes quickly in the girl’s direction. “and then we went inside.” it went without saying. “he’s still on probation, you know? we’re just like, friends, right now.” as topic of conversation shifted to trace, gianna sighed. “don’t worry, i totally yelled at him for it, smooch,” she paused, recalling how the night had ended. “but he made up for it. we ditched candyland and went bowling,” a grimace. “i know. it’s so disgusting there, but it was weirdly fun?” perhaps the only good part of valentine’s night. “but, literally, where the fuck did you and miles go? was he a douchebag like everyone claims?”
