David Gibb & Elly Lucas

David Gibb & Elly Lucas are an exciting young folk duo playing a mixture of original and traditional folk music. The duo’s career was kickstarted with a BBC Young Folk Award nomination in 2011. In the 3 short years that followed they’ve released 2 albums to critical acclaim, been endorsed by British shoe manufacturer Gola ®, received extensive airplay on BBC Radio (Mark Radcliffe, Bob Harris), and have been described by The Independent as “the future of folk.”

Gibb & Lucas go to Barcelona! (sort of...)

So our faces have been on display in a shop window in Barcelona as part of advert we did for golaclassics​. Surreal or what!? Looks like we'll have to embark on a Spanish tour!

So a few months ago some of you may remember, we appeared in an advert for Golo ® Trainers (www.gola.co.uk). We're very pleased to be able to announce that in a continuation of that relationship Gola have agreed to be part of the build up to the launch of our new album 'Up Through The Woods'.
