Simple things were a goddamn luxury in this town, yet they were still things that never ceased to piss Elias off. Mostly because such little things shouldn’t happen in comparison with everything else that went on. Yet, here he was, after slaving away cleaning his place which - in hindsight was his own damn fault, he shouldn’t leave it to get dusty for that long - dealing with a rude customer at the garage and now - coffee spilled after waiting in a ridiculously long queue. “Oh fuck me.” He groaned in visible irritation with a roll of his eyes, “You got any tissues or something?” He asked.

Gideon needed caffeine and at this point, he probably would have taken it intravenously if he could, though he was certain everyone would tell him that was a terrible idea. His fingers wrapped around the Pumpkin Spice Latte (his first of the season) and he took a long drink, savoring the taste. He spotted the spill out of the corner of his eye and turned to the man, already holding out his hand, stuffed with napkins. “I always carry extra. I’ve got you.”
