Dear Father, as I am going through this storm all I can do is call out to you. I feel like I am drowning and my only hope is to hold on to your promise. Please intervene as you always have before. Give me more faith cause it’s almost gone. Give faith so that I may be able to see the good after everything has passed.

It is easy to focus on the life we have than see what God says, “For I know the plans I have for you,“ declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Although that was spoken to the Israelites in Babylonian captivity, that is His heart towards us. But God did not act until Abram went. What we have to do is to “leave” and “go”.
