For God’s sake, let us sit upon the ground and tell sad stories of the death of kings; how some have been deposed; some slain in war, some haunted by the ghosts they have deposed; some poison’d by their wives: some sleeping kill’d; all murder’d. — Richard II. Act III, Scene II.
Morgana A few days ago I finished watching Merlin. This show is really amazing and I've started watching it all over again because I can't get enough. My favorite character is definitely Morgana. She's not just a villain, we know WHY she became bad and I can totally relate with that. As all Merlin fans would probably know, Morgana has always been (in Arthur's words) kind and compassionate but because of the convictions of her biological father aka the king about magic and the lack of compassion of their friends, she felt alone and scared when she found out she had magic. She said: "I didn't choose my gifts, just like a didn't choose my father. Yes, magic made me who I am but so did you Uther Pendragon." Her half sister, Morgause, was the only one who helped her, unfortunately she was bad and brainwashed her. So there are many reasons why Morgana turned evil. But you can always notice that even if she claims to be a super bad high priestess that doesn't need anyone, in her eyes there's always a trace of sorrow that makes us understand how much she suffers. If you also pay attention to the pics, she always seems lost and afraid. I've never watched a tv show where a character was so well developed, maybe that's why I fell in love with her. I perfectly understand (but not justify) her behavior and I felt very sorry for her throughout the seasons. "I hope one day you'll find the love and compassion which used to fill your heart." Told her Mordred in an episode. Morgana never found them again, she died full of hate and completely failing in her aim. Her obsession of killing Arthur and sit on the throne of Camelot drove her crazy and I don't want to think about how miserable a life made only by revenge and hatred would be.
I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Hello Cambridge! Another amazing city full of history, so jealous of all the people who have the chance to study here 😩
Deepest, more desperate desire of my heart.
Stratford upon Avon, home to WS. I liked it but it's way too commercialized.
