Astaghfirullah al-‘Adheemal-ladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilaih (I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, Whom there is none worthy except Him, the Living, The Eternal, and I repent unto Him)
““For you to go to sleep every night with no jealousy, spite, or anger in your heart against anyone is the true meaning of happiness. This worldly life isn’t worthy for us to argue with one another over its sake. O Allah, do not make this worldly life our greatest concern.””
—
Sheikh Fahad Al-Kandari

“قالوا: تموت بها حبـاًً؟ قلـت: ألا آذكروها علـى قبـري لتحيينـي They asked “do you love her to death?” I said “speak of her over my grave and watch how she brings me back to life”
— Mahmoud Darwish
«A man once asked one of the Salaf: How much Qur’an should we read?
He replied: Equivalent to the amount of happiness you are looking for.»
Narrated by Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله
Majmoo’ Al Fatawa 7/493
“May Allah grant me the patience to overcome the troubles that lie ahead of me. May He surround me with beautiful people, those whose words will encourage my language to be purified with nothing but praises of Him, only. May He distance me from those who take me away from Him.”
— (via rabbrakha)
ya Allah, you’re bigger than my sorrows and problems so please give me the strength to handle and overcome them with a beautiful patience
“Faith is tolerance and patience.”
— The Prophet ﷺ, ‘Silsilah al-Aḥadeeth as-Saheehah’ No. 554 (via asifeq)
‘Alī b. Abī Tālib said, “The servant [of Allāh] should not fear except his sins, and should not hope except in his Lord. The ignorant should not be ashamed to ask, and the knowledgeable should not be ashamed to say – if he does not know something – “Allāh knows best.” Patience (al-sabr) to faith (Īmān) is like the head to the rest of the body: if the head is cut off, the body will rot. And one who has no patience, has no faith.”
[Shu’ab al-Īmān, (12/195)]
ثق بالله ما هو واضح في قلبك سوف يتلألأ قريباً
Trust in Allah. What is evident in your heart will soon shine through.
إذا الشي من نصيبك عمره ما يكون لغيرك
If something is destined for you, never in a million years will it be for somebody else.
If you are obedient to Allah but still find yourself surrounded by trials, know that Allah loves you very much.
What's the most unbearable test? The kind of test where you will lose your Iman. What does Allah mean with
{ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا }
Allah charges no soul except to its capacity.
The ayah is not talking about what you cannot physically bear or emotionally bear, it is talking about what you cannot bear to the point where you will lose your faith with Allah azzawajal. And that's a powerful way of understanding that ayah and that's a failure. Everything else, my heart can fail, my liver can fail, my respiratory system can fail, but if my Iman fails that's the biggest failure. All those other failures might even still mean success.
- Nouman Ali Khan (x)
Over a mere span of thirteen years, the Prophet ﷺ was able to win tens of thousands of hearts and change the very course of history, not by lecturing people, but by speaking clearly, truthfully, and with love. Every single hadith shows that he held conversations tenderly and with care for the one questioning him. So careful was he with people's hearts that the companion Anas bin Malik narrates that during the ten years that he spent with the Prophet ﷺ, never once did he hear a word of impatience or rebuke from him, never once did the Prophet ﷺ say to him, "Why did you do so or why didn't you do so?"
In Islamic supplications, God is often referred to as muqallibal qulub (turner of hearts) — and this quality of God was manifested best in the life of the Messenger ﷺ, who, by God's leave, turned hearts and brought out the best in everyone that he came in touch with.
Whoever has the concern of the Akhira and the pleasure of Allah, Allah Subhana Watala will put richness in his/her heart and Allah Subhana Watala will Assemble and Gather all his/her matters under him and Allah Subhan Watala will make the Duniya run to him/her.
