JEONGNYEON: THE STAR IS BORN 정년이 episode 01, dir. Jung Ji In (2024)
I seldom watch movies unless I’m really curious about them or I’m a big fan of the actors. In this case, it was the latter. While I’ve always liked Ha Ji Won, I hadn’t seen any of her work besides Secret Garden.
Aside from that, I really enjoy older or should I say classic Korean movies. I was surprised to find out that this one was based on a true story. And the setting! I mean, can you believe it was the first time North and South Korea played as a unified team?
Don’t even get me started on the chemistry between the main leads. I’m not usually into sports besides volleyball, but this movie actually inspired me to learn table tennis. Overall, the film was perfect and moved me in a profound way!
Guess what? I finally found a purpose for this account!
