Hey @ginstudy !
I was your studyblr secret santa. This is a bit late, but I made you a moodboard as a present!
Hopefully we can keep on being friends. :)
As do I, my friend! Thank you - I’m inspired for the future just by laying eyes on this. I wish you the best of weeks.

Merry Christmas, @mal-studyblr !
What’s the one thing that you want the most? -Vi
Realistically, to be a successful doctor. Unrealistically, to see the world from the outside, terrified as I am about the vastness of our universe. It’s fascinating and beautiful in images. Guess that’s why I’d like to fly --- if I had the chance to see Earth from space, I’d take it in a heartbeat. (Truth be told, I’d shout a few profanities up there. Seeing as no one would hear them. No kidding.)
After having to postpone it three times, I’m finally going to watch Aquaman later today with my brother, so I’m really excited for that! I’ve also got a couple of cousins who I didn’t even know existed until last year coming over tomorrow. I can already picture it in my head. Everything’s going to be so awkward. -Vi
Going to the cinema is always fun. (I assume it’s in a cinema/theatre because it won’t be out on disc at this point?) I’ve always wanted some weird, long-lost cousin who was related somehow to the Beatles. Is that strange? Probably.
It’s likely that you’ve already done these things now, so tell me - does Aquaman die in Infinity War? Did the meetup go Swimmingly Well or was it the Disaster Artist? I hope it went well! Always good to make some new friends. Christmas approaches… and I bought basil for my brother so that counts as a Christmas tree, right?
It’s nice to have a goal. I’ve got no clue what field I’m interested in. How was your day? Anything interesting? -Vi
You’ll work it out, I’m sure. And people never stay in one lifetime career nowadays. There’s an opportunity to try your hand at everything. I had a fine day - I saw a small school production of Macbeth, which was very enjoyable! One of my favorite Shakespearean works. It’s no wonder I also liked House of Cards, which is much the same sort of story. Has anything exciting happened in your week, Vi?
So is the health industry something you’re interested in? -Vi
For sure, it always has been. I’d like to be a part of medicine’s new tech age — we’re definitely approaching a time in which more things can become mechanical. But I’ve never been great at sticking to one pursuit. Astrophysics also fascinates me. I went to a forum last year and met someone who completely changed my view of the scientific community. In a way, I think health is studying the smallest level, where astronomy studies the largest.

Ah no, I meant you were being sarcastic about the ice, not my brothers. I have a cousin from London who used to fly. What’s the difference between studying health sciences and medicine? -Vi
I shouldn’t write when I am tired, always misinterpret things. Since I don’t have all that much to compare it with, I’m not sure it’s the case for all places with both health and medicine courses. But as I understand it, we cover a more basic understanding of biology and chemistry as it applies to many organisms, and then specialise later in human health. Whereas the doctor of medicine applies things to the human body very early on. I just wanted to see if the health industry was something I would be interested in before I jumped straight to medicine. That said, the medical science guys seem to do pretty much the same thing up until 3rd year. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
2/100 Days of Productivity
4.5.16
Today was majorly productive - I’m still a bit behind but I got so much done! The book in the middle “the Cold War” is one I’ve been reading on the train the past few days to try and expand my knowledge for history, but in a more novelised way because I find I take in information from books and textbooks differently. I also managed to finish f my ecologist notes as well as type up some history work and convert them all to pdf’s to print (Never let pdf converting build up - I had over forty files to convert) Also during the day I managed to cram in planning a history source question and a Ecologism question to consolidate some of my knowledge. Late tonight I think I’m going to do some more economics and maybe start writing my history questions and I’m super looking forwards to tomorrow because it’s Starbucks Thursday’s!! :)
I can’t really tell if you’re being sarcastic or not, but I’m going to assume that you are. My brothers are the best. I love them to bits. -Vi
I was genuinely agreeing, Vi! My brother is often a playful nuisance, mostly hilarious, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
