‘Thousands of cranes, made by hands, Folding lines into ropes of hope. Pulling off edges around her soul, Melting away the burning black sun, Grasping the light of peace.

I wrote down those thoughts for this commission of sadako and the thousand paper cranes. It cannot be called a poem - I just composed my image from there. I wish to convey more emotions behind the peace symbol. Origami is fragile and hard work.
