I’ll be gluing and assembling a bunch of doors for the next few days on our latest residential job. Most of the cabinets will have painted overlay doors so lots of milling but low stress. I like simple and reclaimed designs cause they’re sturdy, resourceful and you don’t have to worry so much about messing up a time intensive finish. Some finished shots and tiny details of the Bonbright job. This was a heavy mill job and all departments at Vangarde crushed it. I started this job kicking and screaming, full of doubt and uncertainty, hands black and covered in splinters everyday for a week. I let my worry get the best of me and almost lost my job. But luckily I share the shop with the hardest working team anyone could ask for. And the best foreman behind my back. We got this baby out and installed in only 2 weeks.
