ten years ago I went into a hot topic for the first time. wasn't allowed as a kid bc religious parents, but as soon as they dropped me off for college I went to the mall. my dad had given me a $100 bill for emergencies and I spent it at hot topic for fun. actually got some change back on that transaction even though I got a good handful of things. still have the vest I bought that day, even. it's sunbleached to hell and back but the construction itself has stood up well. if I went in today I think that vest would be $100 by itself
