If you was one of the arcane writers, how would you finish Mel, Jayce and Meljay arcs in s2? Really need to know your opinion

I linked my writing ideas on s2 here, but to add onto it, I definitely wouldn’t have erased jayvik either. I think it was really important queer representation, even though I would have had meljay as endgame. In the post I’ve linked you, I talk about how they could’ve done it tastefully for everyone involved, without being insensitive (imo as a queer woman myself, but this is subjective of course). The memorial would’ve happened the same, but Jayce would’ve been there with Mel, mourning those they lost. Mel going back home was definitely important for her, and I wouldn’t want to put Jayce in that when it was “her” moment—that being said, he would’ve been waiting for her in Piltover, or done a “I’ll see you soon” Type ordeal.

My boyfriend is finally watching Arcane, and once he finished s1 he was able to just… start s2. No three years of waiting. No pulling out books of league lore and doing narrative backflips to try and explain to people that Mel was still alive. No mourning period. Just s2. If only we had all been this lucky.
