It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.

The only limits for tomorrow are the doubts we have today.

All endings are also beginnings. We just don’t know it at the time.

House of night series (no spoilers)
2 stars
Plot: After a Vampire Tracker Marks her with a crescent moon on her forehead, 16-year-old Zoey Redbird enters the House of Night and learns that she is no average fledgling. She has been Marked as special by the vampyre Goddess Nyx and has affinities for all five elements: Air, Fire Water, Earth and Spirit. But she is not the only fledgling at the House of Night with special powers. When she discovers that the leader of the Dark Daughters, the school’s most elite club, is mis-using her Goddess-given gifts, Zoey must look deep within herself for the courage to embrace her destiny – with a little help from her new vampyre friends.
review: Terrible! Bad! I started first book with great expectations because annotation was really great! First book was good, second was okay, third was worse and so on... I think I read 8 books before I stopped because I couldnt take that bs anymore. Books were badly written and boring. I admit that storyline was quite good but I just can not give more than 2 stars to this series :( And there are like 14 books in this series ... Whaaaaat? Who reads them???

Words are, in my not so humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic, capable of both influencing injury, and remedying it

Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect

We are all human, aren’t we? Every human life is worth the same, and worth saving
Kingsley Shacklebolt, The Deathly Hallows
The world isn’t split into good people and Death Eaters. We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are.

4,5 stars
This collection of eleven short stories illuminates the life of the enigmatic Magnus Bane, whose alluring personality, flamboyant style, and sharp wit populate the pages of the #1 New York Times bestselling series, The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices.
I absolutely loved the book! It was interesting, funny and it gave me possibility to get to know Magnus even more. It was just so perfect.. Cannot get enough of him. I recommend this book to everyone who have read Mortal Instruments or Infernal Devices. You will not regret it :)
And for those who havent read any of Cassandras Clares books - you have to read them !
