🥪 Set a plate/tray/bowl of food down for my muse.

So ... maybe he hasn't eaten for a while. His appetite wasn't too voracious as compared to his peers and fellow shinigami. He ate like a bird, some said, which was suitable. Atau was squatting in the garden, looking at the newly bloomed flowers among various bugs that buzzed about. For a moment he sensed a presence not too far behind him. Something imposing if not gruff and maybe difficult to get along with. Although he didn't have any problems getting along with anyone as of yet. Most folk often avoided him, or looked at him quizzically as he went about his business. Atau appreciated, at least, that this one treated him harshly alike to everyone else. It was refreshing, in a way.

A bowl was thrust in his face unceremoniously. While his attention was drawn away from the marching ants in the soil a few moments ago, he decided at least half his attention was owed to Captain Muguruma. Turning his head upward to meet their gaze he nodded once while briefly signing [ THANK YOU. ] Taking the bowl he looked down at the often missed meal. Maybe he was a bit hungry now that he's got to thinking about it ...
