My dispatch Oc, Klio, aka Siren. Some highlight info:

-She’s actually half-siren, with her mama being full siren. But Half-Siren didn’t sound quite as good.

-her hair is literal seafoam. And she has feathers akin to a chicks fluff.

-She is the youngest of twelve half-sisters.

-She is very materialistic. The island she comes from is purposefully cut off from the rest of the world, so coming to America; she fell in love with the comforts of the modern world.

-the only reason she joined the Phoenix Program was because her mother got her arrested and gave her the ultimatum. Stay in prison or change her life around.

-She hates being mistaken for a mermaid. (She has feathers, dammit!)

I just finished the Iliad and what I didn't know was that Hector had practically disrespected Patroclus' body by fighting over it with the Achaeans. Like it was literally describing how they were basically playing tug of war with the body. Which slightly makes Achilles dragging his body around a little more sense. Other than, you know, absolutely blind with rage and grief

I drew my Monster Prom oc, Belot, and colored them using the greyscale challenge because I wanted to update their design but couldn’t decide on their color palette. Obviously the original colors were more…jarring. But I adjusted them to make it look better afterwards. An interesting experiment, overall!
