One day I wanted to see what Simon might look like with an intact and less… statue-like face (but still grey), so I played around a bit in Paint.

I'm not an artist by any means (the most I can do is doodle and play around in Paint, like I did now), so I'd really like to see someone skilled or talented take on this, but oh well.

And since there are practically no men in the game without facial hair, I present to you Simon with a mustache.

Hey, remember Alan's last conversation with Tim (about Tim meeting Zane)? Tim said, "It was weird because I heard you got out of this place. Seeing you here, I guess that was just a rumor."

I bet many of you were just as confused as I was. "heard"? "rumor"? Where did you hear that, Tim? From whom?

Well, the game doesn't give us the answer to these questions (another little mystery), but... in the game files I found something that most likely was once the answer (or one of them).

There is dialogue in the conversation between Saga and Tim in the Dark Place that didn't make it into the game. They're talking about Alan.

I put together a short video to show you the voice lines (the background is just for atmosphere, don't pay attention to Saga twitching - the loop was too short).

Just in case, I remind you that time means nothing in the Dark Place, so Tim’s conversation with Saga about Alan’s successful escape from the Dark Place before this escape actually happened fits perfectly into the logic of the Remedy universe.

Well, I understand why it was cut from the game. The lack of a clear answer that Tim heard this from Saga opens up the possibility of Tim meeting a character we haven't yet seen in the Dark Place, or characters who are already there but haven't interacted with each other on screen (Alice or Darling). There are a lot of possibilities.
