please give me noir detective halia and assistant julieeeeeeeee i need it. lowkey i think julie would love being an intake person for a private investigator because she gets to hear the gossip without actually involving herself in it. the person is like "i think this mf is cheating on me! go get them!" and julie's like "yeah halia go get them!!!" like i think halia would think that julie were just in it for the love of the game, without thinking of any real consequences. ditz julie. and she might be right.

side note if not noir, in a modern day halia could be like a process server that julie calls on when matt murdock harvestshope needs to serve docs on the courts? as a defense lawyer she'd really only be sending documents to the feds so they'd be easy to find. BUT STILL! halia… process server…

this is also slightly off the beaten path but lowkey i think xeno and halia should be friends. (hello @inrovina river who is an amazing writer, this is @thecryptsleepers hal, a long time friend who is also an amazing writer!!!!) REASONS: there's an au where xeno and julie are siblings, and both are "immortal" in a sense, but julie reincarnates and xeno doesn't. and they try to find each other for every reincarnation. halia is immortal and long living like xeno. THEY SHOULD BE FRIENDS and halia should be able to see a reincarnated julie and be like XENO I FOUND HERRRRRRR and then also drama should ensue between xeno and halia. thank you for coming to my meet-a-friend-and-plot talk.

also off the top of my head i think that mercutio should be involved in some kinda fake death plot. like he should be a part of the paper trail that one of my characters is involved in for confirming their death. i think julie and BIRDIE should have that dynamic we saw in that kpop thing a while back. where the guy interacts with the guard and the guard just has to pretend it isn't happening. plus i think julie and elinor should be online friends and julie actually doesn't know elinor is famous due to just, like, elinor enjoying having a relatively normal friend esp during her breakdown or whatever. they play league aram together. julie's in elinor's dms like "'WHY DOES HE KEEP TRYING TO FUCK WITH MEEEEE" and elinor's like "should we kill him?"

bonus points if elinor's like "actually it's me haha sorry" and julie's like "yeah ok whatever can you like buy me a house then [not believing her]"

blahblahblah whatever thancred already knows siobhan from sharlayan so when she goes over to star ther gleaner stuff, thancred is like wow i know a friend u would like, and they become friends in the scions etc WHATEVER

steeples fingers. siobhan takes part in the dawntrail timeskip, right, during the train part. i like this for her because she largely starts to come into herself (btw we can also discuss ellie clocking the similarities between hyth and siobhan (ellie looking at the amaurotine in amaurot and being like… shiv????)) and be her own person aside from the scions and a bit of a badass probably too. anyway i'm thinking about like, how elinor sees the different feral souls and the devices and whatnot? i bet there could be something there where ellie sees shiv and is like… you're not… yourself anymore:? even before learning about everything. like, the, whole, "your soul looks different" probably compounded by older anxieties re: shadowbringers lightwarden stuff
