Loki taking on the daunting and devastating task of killing his father to save the whole country. Loki who cried because he wanted to find a way to save Harald too, but ultimately all he could do was saving his humanity and all of what he stood for, by ending his life and pretending he did it for his own gain.
Loki doing that, all so Harald's efforts and accomplishments wouldn't have been made in vain. So that the people can still believe in the good of what he did, and how he tried to open Elbaf to the rest of the world through diplomacy and friendship, and not brutality.
Loki not listening to his father's wish to explain to his people what really happened there, and taking the blame for it so that the hearts of the giants wouldn't be corrupted by hate towards the outside world, because he knew that that could happen, and also knew that Harald wouldn't want that.
So not only he had to bear the emotional toll of killing his own father, the only one who truly loved him for what he is from the start. But he also had to bear the weight of all the giants and his brother hating on him and falsely believing he did it just to take the throne. He had to bear being chained up in the worst part of Elbaf to pay for a crime he didn't want to commit, but had to because he was forced to by the circumstances, and for the greater good.
All that so he could save what his father created for their country. A country who did nothing but hate and be wary of him from the moment he was born. And yet, he still chose to sacrifice himself to protect all giants and prevent them to go back to their old roots, because of love.
Loki, you're such a good character. You and your growth will be always so so dear to me. Oh, how I love you...
