vasidra:
❛ Allow me this — ❜ oh, his efforts were truly appreciated. sure enough they would end in follow though entertained her greatly. ❛ Thus far, you have proven to be a drunken man with a thousand TRILLION galaxies at his disposal in name of my beauty. Well met, you’ve outdone yourself. ❜
“ At last, my potential has been noted. Your highness, you are forever generous and your patience knows no bounds. I am a lucky man indeed to have been granted the pleasure of entertaining you for an evening. See -- I’m full of surprises. “

amirnar replied to your post:
to be fair at least sharrkan can properly talk to girls unlike some others who shall remain conspicuously unnamed. alibaba. i’m talking about alibaba.
alibaba obviously still needs his teacher sooOOooo really what you’re telling me is that they need to interact Even More ;)
“ Honestly you buy a pretty girl a drink and tell her she’s beautiful and then suddenly everyone’s on your backside about it, or something. Jeez, lighten up. “
vasidra:
vasidra:
❛ And I thought you to sweep me off my feet as none have done before, if not amuse me some and yet I am mildly disappointed, Sharrkan. I thought you a man of experience. ❜
“ I jest, I jest. Please, allow me to try once more. “ Cue a rather theatrical clearing of his throat. “ If I had a star for every moment that you looked beautiful, I’d own a thousand, trillion, galaxies. “
kitsuneodori started following you
vasidra:
❛ Mmm, clever, I shall grant you that credit. Oh, but you can do much better. ❜
“ And here I thought I was starting off strong. Alright... how about this one; you’re so beautiful that-- wait, I totally forgot what I was gunna say. “
vasidra
“ I’m not drunk, I’m just intoxicated by you. “
rukhism:
Alibaba and Sinbad are next.
why u gotta be so problematic

Perhaps one of the biggest regrets on the very first day of his arrival was spending the entirety of his wealth upon food and drink the moment he'd arrived. Of course he hadn't known of what was to come after he'd left the last bar drained dry of his funds but lack of foresight and a privileged thirst for fun had warped his mind considerably it seemed. For after finishing off the last of his wine he'd gone in search of the carriages meant to transport folk to and from each borough only to find himself upon a busier street than the last, a street which was full to the brim with women. Clothes from this realm, even clothes he recognised, wherever he cast his gaze he found himself looking upon beauty. Yet he was poor. He had nothing. The clothes upon his back and the wooden replica he'd been given in exchange for his prized blade. What luck.
Before approaching a market stall where a handful of girls gossiped and cooed at one another, Sharrkan paused. For a moment he could have sworn that he'd heard a familiar eruption of awkward laughter from somewhere beyond the third stall down. Then again, nervous laughter in the company of women was hardly unusual. Still, for a moment it had been something familiar. Something reminiscent. He proceeded to approach the women, soon after learning that they were not that way inclined, much to his own disappointment and amusement, thus was returned to square one: poor, somewhat lost and without good company.
There...that laugh had rung out again. A male laugh that he felt sure he knew. He approached the sound, passing several women and offering them the best of his hurried smiles until he caught sight of a familiar head of blond. Of course there was likely a more proper way to approach one's own student but having spent several hours, and several dollars, on alcohol, proper ways of doing things were a thing of the past. Uncaring that the only familiar face he knew was distracted by the pair of women before him, Sharrkan jabbed a finger into the small of Alibaba's back, playfully prodding with a single digit before grinning at him as though they'd known of each other's presence all along.
" What do you think you're doing here, Alibaba? I guess this is where you ran off to after all, hm... "
The specifics of why and how were abandoned in that brief moment as Sharrkan ruffled the hair atop Alibaba's head, setting his hairstyle askew.
vasidra It wasn't as though he enjoyed being somewhere so very unlike the world he'd been taken from or even that he'd misplaced responsibilities that had once been the very crux of his professional life for quite a while but rather he had taken to ' modern life ' as though he were meant for it. Naturally the complexities of day to day life were far different than those he knew from a time unlike this, yet he was unperturbed by these occurrences and made best of each day whatever he was allowed. He had indulged in food soon after arriving, spending the entirety of the coin he'd been gifted and that had made up his entire wealth within the city but he was far from depressed by such a reckless act. He had wined and dined himself and that was all a man could truly require, was it not?
Ah, though there were things missing from the equation that he silently missed when tipping the glass of crimson wine against his lip and noting the lack of noise that surrounded him as he did so. He had grown used to ruckus, to parties and vibrancy and there upon that lonely bench beyond the bar door and in the courtyard of a district he'd forgotten the name of, he found himself missing many faces and voices. It was unlike him to wear a frown during such times therefore he did not weep or even muse the idea of doing so. He drank in silence, that was until he realised that he had not been alone at all.
As though she were framed by a sunlit glow, impossible due to the evening hues amongst the sky and the shadows which consumed the street he sat beside, she walked by the bar's courtyard and seemed to miss that there had been anyone at all seated right beside the entrance. For a moment, Sharrkan said not a word for he was curious as to what kind of a world a girl such as that may have came from, what life she had once led before she too had been stolen away as he had. He had heard that many were from distant kingdoms with creatures and life that held no similarities to his own. Unsure whether to be cautious or amazed by such a fact he chose to remain sceptical. After all, what magical world could best him and those people from his own land that bore swords for limbs and fought with blades for fists? " Take a drink with me! It hardly seems right that the both of us should be lonely tonight. "
He spoke out eventually, before she would disappear into the same darkness from which she had come. He rose to his feet, the golden waterfalls of jewellery that donned his neck clinking as his robes shifted and he greeted the stranger with an open hand.
