it’s crazy how in a few years the music we listen to now and we obsess over now will be the new “oldies music” and our kids will complain whenever 1d or 5sos or atl or fob comes on the radio and will insist on changing it to whatever new bands are out at the time.

But unlike my parents, I’m totally gonna fucking blast that shit and I’m gonna listen to my kid ramble on abut their favorite band and why their music is so important to them. I’ll buy them band merch and even tickets if I can afford it and I’ll let myself be dragged to venues and shit bc I know how much bands meant to me when I was their age.
