on the VERY RARE occasions i have found a bra for less than $50 in my size, they’ve fallen apart quickly and they hurt like hell. have you ever worn a bra, dude? apparently not. the cheap ones HURT. also, the cheap ones invariably come in small cup sizes. i do not have small boobs. bigger boobs = more expensive bras. you try bra shopping sometime.

i just bought 5 bras, plain and boring as hell,
ON SALE, and they still came to $170 before shipping and cross country/border duties. Once you added that in (because they don’t have that store here, and the sizes here cut off at 44), each bra came to $45

I find all these a arguments to be utterly ridiculous. I have E-Cups (in some bras; european measurments) and I can wear cheap bras (around 5-15 Euros) for years. I don’t know what all these other people doing with theirs, I mean, your not supposed to use them as shopping bags or anything like that? Also, if the metal parts are poking into your breasts, why don’t you get some without them? I do it and my breasts are still in shape, because I tighten the holders.
Also, buying bras with a shipping cost of 10$? When you can just buy them in a store? And seriously a plain black bra for 45$ sounds like a scam to me. You can get the same bra (same cut, same structure, most likely same material) where I live for far less.
By the way, there is actually a reason why some bras are pretty expensive. Like, there are people who have so make them. Like seamstresses. And bras are not that easy to make. Those people want to get paid. And some materials might also increase the price.
I love how feminists tend to forget that some items are actually produced by other women who want to earn money.
