A Much Needed Update!
Hi friends! You are very, very free to unfollow me here and I won’t take any offence. I haven’t used my Tumblr since September 6th 2018, 3 days before the Ghost concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London that I was so looking forward to, as this was the fateful day my retina was detaching in my one useful eye and I became completely blind. In December, the other retina detached in my already blind eye.
2 detached retinas, 4 emergency surgeries, 1 membrane peel, 6 eye stitches, 1 post-operative infection and hundreds of eye drops later - here I am. A god damn mess.
I can’t see images unless they are described and I can’t expect everyone to do that on here so there’s not much point to this. You’re free to follow me on Instagram where I’ve detailed my sight loss journey through the months, attempt to take photos and have developed incredibly careful hands and a good selfie position.
