Petaurus Metropoli are adept climbers, they physically cannot walk, instead they hop and bound, they are incredibly agile and will stop for no one.

I have 3 premade Metropoli Gliders, available for sale at $20+ each and personal designs for $35+ depending on rarity. This is a CLOSED species that dwell in abandoned places, their locality is determined by where and how their eggs are incubated.

Traits available: Uncommon- Bobtail, maned(ruff of fur around the whole neck), longtailed(long fur extends down the whole tail) Rare- Half mane (ruff of fur only on back of neck, extends down back) Long haired, polydactyl. Extremely rare- Dual tailed, horned(pair of antlers/horns that match locality), spiked (a row of spikes down the back.

1 Rare moss, damp hatched. Placid and lazy, egg hatched in an abandoned house in Singapore in humid weather, still lives there. $30

2 Standard warm hatched, only common traits. Based on Jerboa. Gentle but emotional, egg hatched under dusty bed frame at just the right temperature. Lives in abandoned beach houses. $20

3 Uncommon moss, moist hatched. Vibrant and active but immature, egg hatched in a pile of moss in Shengshan Island, China. Still lives there and teaches hatchlings how to glide. $25

Metropoli gliders are incredibly agile and natural climbers, they begin learning how to climb from the moment they hatch, usually this means grabbing their parent’s ears and climbing their tails. Although they have hollow bones, the honeycomb structure makes them incredibly strong, this works to their advantage as when learning they are very clumsy and have many falls. Their main downfall is how fragile their patagium is (the thin flap of skin that allows them to glide) If this tears then they have no way of navigating their surroundings or evading predators, if they live on their own this is almost always certain death.

They have human like hands and arms with far more motion in the shoulders. Their back legs are incredibly muscular with non-retractable claws used for stability. Their hands lack pads but instead are thickly calloused, their paws do have pads but these are also calloused.

They do not walk, it is highly unnatural and will instead jump and hop like a lemur or if they have to will walk like a wallaby when on all fours.

Metropoli Gliders are usually incredibly good parents, emphasis on usually. They lay eggs and generally don’t leave their nest until the eggs have hatched, clutches can be as small as 1 or 2 eggs and as big as 15 but that is incredibly rare and only happens if there are multiple parents available to care for them. The parents’ locality has no impact on the locality of the young, only individual traits like fur length, horns or manes. The locality is entirely dependant on the environment in which they are incubated. The above gliders’ eggs were laid in a patch of moss that was slightly warm and muddy but mum had no uncommon traits so the babies came out as standard in build with gentle but playful temperaments.
