The thing about trying to fit Mariner/Ransom into the mold of a stereotypical heterosexual couple is that like,,, yeah, I can kind of buy the idea that Beckett Abandonment Issues Mariner might try to fit herself into a more traditionally feminine role upon getting into a long term relationship with Ransom because she thinks it's what he wants from her.

But I also think that Jack "I think someone threatening to kill me is hot" Ransom would be deeply uncomfortable and offput by this. Like she would try to act demure one (1) time and he would be like "no, put your pants back on. We can have sex as soon as you decide to get your personality back". That shit could not possibly last longer than three days.
