Mariner/ Ransom wedding where they try to go down the aisle via Wipeout style obstacle course because they're both bro-ey and annoying, but the obstacle course was built by Rutherford and Billups as a wedding present, so instead of getting married they end up battling whatever evil AI Rutherford managed to program into a climbing challenge.

Every day I think about how in Grounded Mariner and Ransom's civilian clothes were basically the same outfit in slightly different colors, and how Mariner's vacation look in Star Trek: Celebrations is practically identical to Ransoms outfit in Wej Duj, and anyway I think if they were a couple they'd show up to every function in matching outfits - not because they're doing it on purpose, but because they both have the indistinct personal style of a frat boy who's made competitive rowing his entire personality

A friend was telling me about her gym bro boyfriend, who, when she got diagnosed with a new disability, did hours upon hours of research on her diagnosis specifically so that he could figure out which exercises were still safe for them to do at the gym together, and anyway, not to make it all about my blorbos, but please imagine this with Mariner and Ransom,,,

Mariner/Ransom works best when you understand that it's a queer masc for masc relationship between a pair of bisexual gym bros. Like yes, they're a man and a woman, but there is nothing normative about how these two are playing out the gender roles in their relationship.

It's a small thing, but I really loved how quick Mariner was to call Ransom in Shades of Green. I don't think she would've even considered asking him for help in season 1 and it really shows how much trust and respect has grown between them
