Slack arse!
I know, I know. I'm a slack arse for not posting the rest of my Europe visit. I'm on it I promise.
Ive been playing around with flavouring butter, with 100% success so far. 1st try was parsley and basil from my garden with crushed garlic… Awesome on steak n veg.
These 2 flavours are Cinnamon and raw honey and bacon onion and organic home grown apple off of our tree. I made them as a thank you for our friend who looked after our home while we were away. I hope she likes them.
Our 1st delivery of Real Raw Milk. ( those apples are from our tree) Its so delish my kids downed their 1st glass in seconds…which is unusual for them. Yay to Raw pasture fed cows milk. This like weed needs to be legalised right now!
How pretty is this. I could see an entire wall in my dream of 2 glass layers with theses pretty flower patterns wedged between them. Amazing!
Elephants just became my fav animals of all time. This made me feel soooooo happy to watch.
Just Wow!
OK, here is a sheet (and an example of my first couple of days) you might like that can be used to both plan out meals and use as a diary for GAPS Intro. (I was going to post my diary, but realized it’s pretty much a repeat of this post everyday!) You can see, also based on my planning posts, that after making MONSTER batches of soup and half-cooked hamburger patties, that I simply grabbed a jar and a patty here and there and ate them whenever I was hungry. Add in a lot of broth and growing amounts of kraut and pickles, and voila! Weeks 1-3 of intro commenced for me. (Reminder- I cannot eat chicken or eggs- if you can, then you should!)
Also, if it’s easier- here it is as a PDF for you to download!
Finally, someone who wants to share without asking for money!
Why do those who know how to heal others always insist on making money on their knowledge :( poo to them. They should share and help heal all, regardless of economic status.
knowledge should be free, products either bartered for or paid for, but not knowledge!
Happy New Yaer to All my Followers.
Hey everyone, I'm a Home Educator and our way of life is under threat here in Australia in New South Whales. I soon will be forced to teach a school system curriculum without flexibilities. My son will not benefit form this as the school system has already failed him.
Please help us stop this ridiculousness, that is put forward by those who have no idea what Home Education is all about by signing this petition .
It will only take a minute of your time, and I would greatly appreciate the help, as will all home educators.
Help us make this a happy eduction filled year, not a dull robotic, fit into the box one.
Pass the link around, feel free every signature helps.
Cheers, and a big happy new year to you all, I hope this year brings you all you have worked hard for. xoxoxoxo
Beetroot ginger and orange relish. You will need: Beetroots I had 10 medium ones 2 lrg red onions 1-2 tbsp of grated ginger 750ml of vinegar I used balsamic any type will work 1 lrg orange for juice and zest 1-2 tbsp mustard powder or mustard seeds Ruffly 1 cup of brown sugar Salt and pepper to taste Butter for cooking onions Method: Peel and dice or chop finely the onions, sauté in butter till fragrant. Peel and chop finely the beets, keep the leaves for salads or a spinach replacement its delish. Add the beetroot to the onions along with the ginger, the orange juice and zest the mustard and the salt and pepper. Heat through. Pour in the vinegar and add the sugar. Bring to the boil and then let simmer gently until the liquid is mostly evaporated and is thick and saucy. And thats it. U can bottle it up while its hot into sterilised jars or just keep it in an airtight container in the fridge. It will keep for well over a month in there. Perfect on steak mmm steak!
A few months back 8 entered a Girl Guides raffle. Look what I won! Good timing too, I needed new perfume. Its definitely a very sexy scent. I like it.

The harvest of beets, beans, nectarines, lemon and green garlic. I have a recipe for the beets to share next post. Ginger and orange beetroot relish... Mmm delish!
The best part of the Sagrada Familiar, was the Tower tour. The view from up there was just amazing.
The Sculptures however, well baby's being massacred by a Roman soldier. I think that says enough.
We went for a visit to our grandfolks last week. We are very lucky to have family that are great neighbours, because one of them was holidaying in America and they were minding their farm. The neighbours are mad on horses, a darling white pony (who's name eluded my nan n pop) followed us around the yard. So friendly and sweet the kids really enjoyed her company. We picked beans, beetroot, nectarines and a lemon and we got 2 eggs from the choocks. It was a fab way to spend a hot afternoon in my hometown.
