Nexus Kei Packaging Project.
Nexus Kei is a company that sells keychains, figurines, plush toys, and lanyards that focus on sci-fi and fantasy characters and genres. They sell both pop culture figures as well as their own unique brand of characters that people can follow along on their journeys across space and time. This company focuses on eco-friendly packaging and uses recycled and seed paper for their packaging and uses minimal plastics, with the plastics that they use being recyclable. They use a unique style of packaging as they wanted to minimally use the constantly used square and rectangular boxes that are normally used to sell figurines and 3-d keychains, to create an interest in their products. As a result trapezoidal boxes were created so that they could still be stack-able on store shelves but also had a unique look to them, with the trapezoidal shape being identifiable as a small spaceship pod, an unfinished pyramid, or temple.
