A drawing for an arpg group for Bug Camp
Pushing for the group to be automated has its ups and downs, but this feels like a massive "down" because the group was built off the active human community and interactions. Sure some things performed by bits is perfectly valid, like the Beebs and maybe little games or something, but too much automation is going to really put a wall between the community and the owner. This isn't a digital pet site, it's an art and literature group hosted primarily on deviantart and discord. Moving too much into automation isn't going to go well depending on what exactly she's intending to have automated.
I don't know. It feels like she wants to be really hands off with everything. Considering this desire is pushing back events and therefore causing more people to lose interesting I think this is going to ruin the group further. There's nothing to do.

Welcome to Bug Camp
Velociraptor and Snipe have bid tardigrades and bacteria a fond farewell and moved on to other research for the rest of the summer. They are now far from civilization, enjoying the northern wilderness at their college's biological research station. For our purposes, we'll call it Bug Camp.
Here, they work for The Muskrat, their entomology-inclined professor. Much of their day is spent bent over trays of ethanol full of drowned insects, picking caddis flies out of the soggy mass grave and sorting them into distinct species.
This is a relatively monotonous task, and Velociraptor and Snipe have sought various forms of entertainment with which to amuse themselves while sorting. The Muskrat is fine with this, as long as it involves, as he put it, "No gangster rap!" (Velociraptor was highly disappointed.)
So far, the entertainment has included: Snipe's Pandora station, bringing a fine selection of 60s, 70s, and 80s music; Snipe's other Pandora station, presenting Disney songs; a delightfully witty radio show from the BBC called Cabin Pressure; and a few Doctor Who episodes featuring David Tennant, costarring with David Tennant's hair. And then, of course, sometimes Velociraptor and Snipe just talk, an activity The Muskrat somehow finds massively entertaining.
As he strolled into the lab the other day, finding his two employees cackling over their radio show, he shook his head and remarked, "Between oldies music, dry British humor, Disney songs, and you two just going at it, you'll definitely keep me on my toes!"
That we will, Dr. Muskrat. That we will.
