ok back to posting cass ! next time ? who knows. (honestly made this as a ref for, erm , potential commission page)
Not sure why it's a new trend among fic readers to assume if the fic has not been posted within the week it's inappropriate to comment on it, like the fic has to be hot out of the oven to give feedback for.
I got a comment on a fic that is less than a year old and it was mostly an apology for being a comment on an "old fic" and how late they were in commenting.
Just comment on the fic. Doesn't matter how old it is.
Fandom is not social media.
Fandom is not trends.
Fandom is a cross between a library and having a slumber party with your friends.
"Old" means nothing to fic.

the funniest thing about actors who play multiple characters in dw is that sometimes they explain it and sometimes they just don't bother. like the twelfth doctor looks exactly like that one dude he met in pompeii two regenerations ago because he chose that face on purpose. martha looks exactly like some random girl who died at canary wharf because they're cousins. there are multiple distinct characters who look exactly like clara because she entered the doctor's timestream and all that weird sci-fi nonsense. but sometimes it's just like... the second doctor has an evil mexican doppelganger for no reason. there's a weird guy from alabama in the 60s who looks exactly like steven for no reason. there's like three different guys who are all mark gatiss
Doctor Who - CollegeAU
CHAOS AT GALLIFREY UNIVERSITY
SUMMARY: First year at Gallifrey University. New city, new flatmate and a... new group chat full of strangers?? Yaz and Rose had come prepared for lectures, deadlines, and the quiet anxiety of starting over somewhere new. What they hadn't prepared for was a bunch of people so bizarre, so chaotic, and yet so oddly warm that the anxiety didn't really get a chance to settle in. Neither of them had been looking for a family. Then again, nobody ever really is.
CHARACTERS: Ninth Doctor, Tenth Doctor, Eleventh Doctor, Twelfth Doctor, Thirteenth Doctor, Simm!Master, Missy, Rose Tyler, Jack Harkness, Martha Jones, Donna Noble, Amy Pond, Rory Williams, River Song, Clara Oswald, Bill Potts, Yasmin Khan

5 years later:
This is Karma Grayson.
I read a book once where the main character was in a binge drink/depressive episode and his house got so bad that his buddy came over and loaded his dirty dishes in the bed of his pickup truck and took it to the car wash. Very entertaining series of events, the book was a supernatural comedy so it didn’t have to be realistic. But it got me thinking. I sat the book down and I was like ‘The author had to have gotten that idea somewhere, right? This is too specific to be a throwaway gag, this has to be based on true events. Either a story that they heard or something they did in college. There is no way they weren’t eating car wax off their plates at one point.’
