Since aromantic spectrum awareness week is tomorrow, here’s my headcanon aromantic deltarune characters because I’m aromantic and there’s like, only a CRUMB of aromantic representation🙂↕️
Asriel (loveless aromantic): he dated Catty for a while, nothing serious, they broke up after a few weeks; it just wasn’t his thing. He kissed bratty but that was only because he was playing a game of truth or dare. Despite his past with kissing and dating, he eventually discovers that romance is not something he experiences like other people. He does value his friendships and does express intimacy through sharing clothes, gift giving, and quality time, his closest friend is Dess. Asriel loves Dess and they are very close, they have been since childhood. Asriel can still feel love and he can love, it’s just not romantic.
Kris (demiromantic lesbian): They don’t really develop crushes and they never really experienced things like “love at first sight” or had any celebrity crushes like the other teens in their life. I can definitely see Kris only falling in love after forming an emotional and deep bond with someone (Don’t even get me started on how Noelle was the girl they were closest to since childhood, and how their relationship became strained around the same time that Kris started developing feelings for her, in addition to already loving her so much as a friend. That messed them up mentally ahhhhhh Kriselle angst😭).
Susie (aromantic lesbian): Susie is very indifferent to romance, it’s not like she can’t feel it, it’s just very little. Maybe the reason she isn’t as forward and confident about her attraction to Noelle is because of her indifference to romance and very little experiences with dating and falling in love. She does have a crush on Noelle and her feelings are mutual but she just doesn’t understand her own feelings yet because she’s never experienced crushes or falling in love as much as other people.
Berdly (demiromantic bi): I mean, look at the guy, he very clearly does not have a crush on Noelle and values their friendship. He develops an instant crush on Susie, but that dosen’t make him any less aromantic. He’s never once felt any genuine Romantic attraction.
