So I found a visual novel called Daybreak which is based off Sun and Moon from SB and I immediately though of you

Got struck with the impulse to try and design my take on Taurus! Not out of disrespect to the original design, I obligatorily disclaim, it was just a fun little creative exercise.

I didn't feel like doing lineart bc it was getting hella late so I just used a bucket fill on the selected sketch layer until I got this crunchy mess. :3 I liked the look of his canon colors with a gradient map that leaned the yellow more towards green, and I wanted to add green instead of yellow since green is apparently the actual Taurus Zodiac's power color.

One of my only other plans for coloring was to make sure I kept the color of his clothing distinguishable from the color of his body. Because I need to be so real, the first time I watched an episode with him, I was confused by his skirt-piece being the same blue as his chest in the back and I legit thought he had his whole ass out 😭

Other than his colors, I honestly changed less from his canon design than I initially planned to, being honest. There's a lot of stuff that trying to change made the design feel... Kinda off. Idk, he didn't feel like Taurus without the toga, specifically. And me trying to give him a bull-like nose made him look creepy, too. 😓 So I ended up kinda just added more to his existing design or changing small details- like the pendant and belt to have the Taurus symbol while his banner has his constellation.

it's July 16th so you know what that means... IT'S BLOOD MOON'S BIRTHDAY BABY

So I drew this it's my absolute blood moon with a cheese Cake

BloodMoon walks with Waylon while trudging through the sewers but bloodmoon feels paranoid for a reason they cannot put

"Croc man...do you feel something is off?" Bloodmoon says sheepishly

"No, do you feel like something is wrong?" Waylon says concerned

BloodMoon finally hears it... heavy, loud footsteps coming towards them. Bloodmoon grabs Waylon arm, dragging him around a turn in the sewers

"BloodMoon what's wrong?" Waylon asks his small cautious friend

"Shut up we will tell you later." Bloodmoon frantically whispers to the large croc

Waylon look around the corner and finally sees what bloodmoon was so about... a large metal gator with fire engine red, curly hair and red, snake like glowing eyes and a violent expression. Waylon turns his head back around the corner right as the gator turns their head

"Who is that?" Waylon whisperers, asks bloodmoon

"uhhh Monty... The gator has been much more dangerous lately so better to avoid" blood moon whispers to Waylon

The both of them stay there for an hour before Monty finally stops looking around there and moves on with their search for Bloodmoon

Uh oh! Monty found them.

I shall dub this chapter "Home invasion" cause well Monty is invading their home, which just happens to be the sewer.
