Miss tumblr! sorry for not posting anything in so long! I’ve been really busy with school and then I came back to Mexico during the winter break so I was busy with my family. It’s almost time to go back to San Francisco so I decided to do this little color practice of photo of Fernanda Ly for Vogue. Drew this while watching troll hunters and harry potter XD so I’m not really sure how many hours it took. Tried to keep it pretty loose? Second month of my class with the amazing Zhaoming Wu you can see the first month here. Most of them are drawn from live just 2 of them are photo studies. Some of them took me 5 hours some of them 12 and one of them I don’t even remember. XD Loved taking this class, drawing portraits is one of my favorite things ever. :) Hope I can take another class in the future with this amazing teacher.

As promised second batch of figure studio class drawings. from week 12 to week 15 and the last two are master copy assignments. Each one took me about 6 hours for the ones done in class with a live model and about 15 hours for the last 2. All of them done using a mix of vine and willow charcoal and charcoal pencils.

As promised, the paintings I finished over the last 5 weeks in my still life painting class in Academy of Arts University. I plan to keep doing oil painting in the future :D can’t wait for my landscape painting class in a couple of semesters. My progress in 10 weeks in my still life painting class in Academy of Arts University. Oil on canvas/gessoed art boards/ canvas panels most of them are 11x14 I feel that I’ve learned so much. :) I have a few more weeks to go, wish me luck!
