â >> BLUEEXECUTIVEÂ ASKED FOR A STARTER! Â Â Â There used to be a time where Giovanni would demand a knock on his office door even with the grunts stationed outside of it at all times--such was simply RESPECT, was it not? However, for some individuals, that rule seemed to simply fall out of place in some sort of silent rule. Â Â Â So Giovanni wasn't exactly surprised when the door suddenly opened with no warning, hastily taking his feet off of his desk and sitting up a bit more straight in the expensive leather chair he was seated in. Raising his eyebrow, he tilted his head at the executive who walked in. Â Â Â Â Â Â " Is it important? "
It wasn't exactly UNCOMMON for Archer to come in only to talk, on the rare days that there wasn't an extreme amount of upkeep for the team and Giovanni wasn't off and abroad on some business deal. He wasn't one to protest--the conversations gave a good break to the tedium.
also @ gio's mom - how do u feel about your son disbanding team rocket for 2 years and leaving his subordinates (*COUGH* archer *COUGH) confused and heartbroken
" SHAMEFUL. He told me his need to strengthen himself was necessary, but the entire manner he went about it was irresponsible; you can't just abandon an entire group of people who depend on you with hardly any preperation or warning just because of your own humilation. It's not very far above a child throwing a tantrum when things don't go his way. "
yo gio's mom - how do you feel about your son being the boss of a terrorist organization
" That's a bit harsh, is it not? He's doing very respectable business. Did you know he's had meetings with the president before? Does that sound like something someone running a TERRORIST organization would do? No, he's just very resourceful, is what it is. There's nothing shameful about doing whatever you need to do to get ahead. He's very generous to the family with his wealth, anyways... "
To Giovanni's mother: what do do you think of your son now, as he has grown older?
â >> MOTHERS DAY.      " It's a relief to say that I'm proud. I've never dealt with such a rotten, entitled child as Giovanni even after SIX children before him-- I fully expected him to completely crash and burn before he even left young adulthood.
And yet he ended up going further than anyone else in the family, despite marvelously bleak circumstances and setbacks. Now, with that, I can't say I'm proud of everything he's DONE, including some utterly humilating failures of his, but...he's certainly grown into a respectable man. "

LEO.
it was difficult to smother a growl at the so called ârespectâ that he had been shown. â ever since your kind have waltzed onto my doorstep, it has been nothing but a NIGHTMARE. your grunts are inconsiderate, dirty, and think they can do whatever they so please. iâve been patient as it is with them, but you have pushed your limits too far. â his brows furrowed, frustrations bubbling up. he had hoped for a civil conversation, something tame compared to what he was typically used to enduring. mandusâ conversations with other leaders rarely went wellâ-his aggressive approach never was taken kindly.
â what necessity is there to have them here? this region isnât even yours to watch, â mandus nearly snapped, struggling to find his composure. It was already long gone, evaporating with giovanniâs sense of self entitlement to his region. â how about, instead, you return them to your homeland and donât return? â his voice was strained with his attempt at being docile, sharp teeth clamping down in restraint.
â i wouldnât have to threaten violence if they werenât here in the first place! âÂ
Giovanni's strained expression was constant, leaning forward slightly, black eyes burning. The corners of his lips turned upwards in a very tight, plastic manner. This was hardly the most intense of any meeting of his, but he wasn't looking forward to the argument brewing on the horizon.       " AND? The behaviour of the grunts I send is something easily fixed, " he insisted, tilting his head with a raised eyebrow. Although it was an attempt of appeasement, his voice had a snappish undertone to it, a slight sneer on his face. The entitlement was written all over it--Giovanni would COMPROMISE, but the moment he didn't have his nose poked into every region, the moment he felt his power slipping.       " I have some amount of grunts in nearly EVERY REGION, what makes you think I'd make some exception to pull them out? Clearly, I'm not trying to dismantle your hold on Hoenn, I simply have business obligations here that I can't just ignore. " It wasn't a terrible excuse, although that was very generously withholding some of the truth. Of course Giovanni had ulterior motives here. Mandus's impressive gain of power in Hoenn was something to pay close attention to. After all, Giovanni had plans to extent Team Rocket's influence to all parts of the globe in the long run.
He leaned back again, watching Mandus from calculative eyes. " I can afford to withdraw some portion of the grunts I have here, but all of them is too much, and I'm fully ready to send MORE instead in the event that you inflict violence on any of my team. " Giovanni's arms were crossed. To him, the concept of relinquishing his grip on anything was unfathomable. In the future, Hoenn would be HIS.
and so i will build myself from ASHES,      and i will RISE again      stronger and greater.Â
// đ does gio take part in missions or is he more of a 'pulling the strings' scary criminal?
â >> HEADCANONS.   Giovanni takes very careful precautions to make sure that he isn't linkable to most of the crimes committed by Team Rocket, thanks to the many layers between anyone who's involved in extensive fieldwork and Giovanni himself. This gives him the privilege of often being able to freely flaunt his identity without worry. Although it's somewhat common knowledge that he's the man behind Team Rocket, it might as well have all the credibility of a rumour when dug into. This also allows him the freedom of wearing the guise of a simple businessman when meeting with associates, letting him negotiate crucial deals that contribute to the power and money of himself and his team without worrying any of his esteemed, more "lawful" business partners with incrimination.    He could care less about the wellbeing of any grunts murdered or incarcerated on a mission, as they typically have paltry knowledge on the actual workings of the Team--however, anyone above the position of grunt who has potentially incriminating information on Team Rocket deals with a particularly scary potential outcome if they get compromised. Giovanni is not above mercilessly threatening the wellbeing of themselves and any family or friends connected to them if they out anything in the event of interrogation.          (---Giovanni has not failed in prior cases to unleash violence on the loved ones of betrayers. It's just BUSINESS to him, after all, however unfortunately morbid. )
Admit you were wrong. Apologize. Understand that youâre fallible. You make mistakes. You hurt people. Apologize. Thatâs growth; understanding you did something wrong and working towards making things right.

@glorificatore
â i want your grunts out of my region. this is not your territory, even if you believe youâve claimed the world, you havenât. â  it was an attempt to be civil, an attempt to not rip the head off of the smug bastard sitting across from him. it was a struggle and a half.
â your little nuisances will end up dead if they keep walking in the borders of my elite. three times now i have had reports back to me of rocket grunts nearly getting their heads chomped off for entering ever grande. if this continues, iâll start allowing them to be killed. â
For a moment, Giovanni looked completely baffled by the sudden impossible request. He balked at the man across from him with a contained smile, one of disbelief. Finally, he tilted his head slowly, the smile slowly fading to one that still held some paper-thin sense of politeness. Surely he didn't think that was realistic, did he?      Â
" ...I BEG your pardon? " His tone wavered on a wire between annoyance and amusement. " My grunts go where I need them to go. They're very civil in this region, anyhow, out of respect for you." Of course his first reaction was to attempt to schmooze his way out of the situation. Surely he could resolve something so petty. He had done it easily with the team leaders of other regions when he had...assigned certain scouting missions.
At the mention of killing, however, Giovanni suddenly became much more grave in an instant, a cold glare settling. He seemed to sit up a bit straighter and widen his shoulders, jaw set in rigid anger.
" Is that so? Will I have to send them armed to the teeth next time, then? " The intensity in his voice was just barely controlled. Giovanni found himself trying very hard to not lose his temper. How dare he suggest such a thing.
