im in love with these silly knitted dogs
i got that dog in me but it's poorly socialized and i don't take it on as many walks as i should
Watched for about half an hour then realised we really should be boycotting and turned it off.
It’s that easy.

Boycott the Eurovision Song Contest 2026
The Eurovision Song Contest financially supports and is supported by Israel and Israeli companies. [Palestinian flag]
Palestinians have been calling for the boycott of the ESC for at least 8 years because it platforms Israel.
Eurovision performers have been protesting Israel's inclusion in the ESC and genocide of Palestinians since 2019. [Photo of a group in black stage outfits holding up a Palestinian flag. Photo of two hugging people turned away from the audience, showing an Israeli and Palestinian flag on the back of their shirts. Photo of a man in white singing into a microphone.]
[Photo of people standing with a banner, reading "Songs and glitter cannot hide homeland being occupied". Photo of people marching with Palestinian flags and a banner "Welcome to Genocide song contest".] Since 2024, major protests against Israel's continued participation in Eurovision occurred.
[Photo collage with three people's faces, followed by a news headline. "Dozens of ex-Eurovision contestants demand exclusion of Israel from contest".]
Past Eurovision performers have spoken out about banning Israel
Current Eurovision National Selections from various countries continue to drop out of the contest due to Isreal's continued participation in 2026
Five countries are boycotting Eurovision 2026 because of Israel's ongoing participation. The Netherlands, Ireland, Iceland, Slovenia, and Spain (one of the big 5!) [The flags of five protesting countries in a row. And a world map of countries where participants are in green, those no longer participating for any reason are in red. And most of the world in grey.]
With the boycott of 5 countries, there are now only 35 Eurovision entries. Barely enough for 2 semi-finals.
[Split screen between ranking of countries with Israel at the top, and people celebrating with an Israeli flag. Screen showing the top 10 ranked countries at the contest in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Thumbnail and title for a YouTube video "How much would it cost to rig Eurovision?"] Israel keeps rigging the public vote, making the results skewed and the contest unenjoyable to watch.
[Photo of a blonde man in a blue jacket with while text floating around his head "harassed by Israeli delegation, disqualified for no reason, filmed by Israeli delegation in dressing room without consent". Photo of a figure on stage in elaborate black geometric costume with similar floating text. "harassed on social media, 'prepare your curses', 'satanic', misgendered".] Israeli broadcasters, participants and teams continue to harass other Eurovision performers/entries.
[Photo featuring text on a blue background. "'October Rain' is an Israeli ballad by the Eurovision contestant Eden Golan, originally intended for the Eurovision Song Contest but was ultimately rejected. After multiple rejections of different versions following a request for lyrical changes, the EBU claimed the song contained references to the October 7th Hamas massacre in Israel, which violated its rules on political neutrality. The EBU later confirmed Israel's participation with the song 'Hurricane' instead of 'October Rain', which went on to qualify in the finals and finished in 5th place, earning the second highest public televote."]
In 2024, Israel's song submission was deemed "too political". Israel's entry was given essentially infinite re-writes to "correct" its political themes. The president of Israel personally intervened to ensure the entry of October Rain/Hurricane was into 2024 ESC "apolitical".
In 2021, Belarus' song submission was deemed "too political". Unlike Israel, Belarus was allowed only 1 attempt at re-writing the song to "correct" its political themes. Unlike Israel, Belarus was banned from the ESC and the EBU for not successfully "correcting" their song submission in one attempt.
[Screen shot of white text on a dark background, "Why does the contest exist? The Eurovision Song Contest is a long running non-political entertainment event, which is designed to bring audiences and countries together." The words "non-political" are underlined in red. And a screen shot from the EBU website, "The EBU Belarusian Member was suspended from the Union in May 2021. The EBU's Russian members were suspended from the Union in May 2022."]
Russia was banned from entering the ESC in 2022 due to "bringing the contest into disrepute"
The ESC claimed that due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, it's ongoing participation in the contest would bring about 'political controversy' which is against the values of the "apolitical" contest
Additionally multiple countries threatened to boycott the song contest if Russia continues to participate
Israel faces similar criticism yet remains un-banned from the competition. The controversy surrounding Israel's occupation of Gaza and violence against Palestinians brings the contest into disrepute. Israel's ongoing participation questions the "apolitical" values of the contest. Multiple countries have threatened to or have boycotted the 2026 ESC due to the ongoing participation of Israel.
Israel continues to break the rules of the ESC. Harassing other participants. Political lyrics. Double standards continue to apply, where Israel's broadcaster and the Israeli delegation are given little to no consequences for things that get other entries/countries expelled from the competition.
Israel financially supports Eurovision. The main sponsor of ESC is Moroccan Oil, an entirely Israeli company.
Israel is socially and financially supported by Eurovision. The ESC provides a positive image and platform for Israel. Promotes tourism. Viewership money goes to Israeli broadcasters.
Israel's genocide of Palestinians and occupation of Gaza should not be supported, even through Eurovision.
Boycott. If not for Palestine, then for the horrible double standards and rule-breaking performed by Israel continually.

taking the pill
gave me anxiety, mood swings, depression and made my migraine worse
made me feel better all over
I don’t think these are the only two possibilities
It’s helped my pain immensely and as soon as I’m doing the monthly week off I’m in agony
But it’s also probably affected my mood negatively as expected
the reason I casually say charlie kirk's wife had him killed is not necessarily because I believe it, but because nothing stops the right from spouting random conspiracy theories about political enemies, so i'll say whatever the hell I want when one of their idols dies. also it's funny. the entire charlie kirk death is inherently funny. he was in the middle of answering a question related to mass shootings when he died.
