In general I have noticed that people these days have this urge to disclose things that they just don’t have to share at all? And then as a result there’s a whole new social script matrix around all the ways we could disclose things to people who wouldn’t receive them well…so many different pseudo psychological arguments for various “guilty pleasures.” I guess it’s a very post privacy social media impulse. But it’s like. If you truly think your social circle would think your tv viewing habits are weird or lame you can just…Not tell them LOL.

In order to be properly non-pedophilic you have to want to fuck somebody old but not with gray or white hair because that's too close to blonde which as we've established is the hair color of children. And it can't be a white woman because that would be racist and it can't be a woman of color because that would be fetishistic, so ideally a woman with some unnatural skin color, oh let's say, purple. But it can't be an alien, because we don't know anything about alien life cycles so it could be an alien child or an alien that looks like a child. So it has to be an animal from Earth, but obviously one of human level intelligence that can communicate is otherwise that would be bestiality. So an old purple female animal that can speak English. I think the only creature you can be hot for is the Ant Queen from A Bug's Life.

When a trans woman is wrongfully arrested and accused of murder, that's not violence, just the police doing it's job. When a young Black man is lynched and hung from a tree, that's not violence, but a suicide. When an ice agent murders a mother or an israeli soldier kills a 6 year old, that's not violence, because they were terrorists. When a health insurance claim is denied and a sick person can no longer afford treatment, that's not violence, it's just how insurance works. When a wildfire intensified by climate change kills dozens of people, that's not violence, it's just natural.

But when Luigi Mangione assassinates a healthcare CEO, it's a heinous act. When workers burn down a warehouse, it's violent property destruction. When protestors shut down a coal mine, it's described as mass criminal violence. When the Islamic Resistance Movement resists israeli settler colonialism, it's violent terrorism we all must condemn. When a trans woman enters a bathroom, she has committed a crime tantamount to rape.

Why is everything that is considered violence aimed at those in power?

Having been wrongfully arrested by transphobic cops, I know this feeling. When my case was thrown out (likely bc im white, come from a Nice Family + a good lawyer) the cop who arrested me turned up at my house to give my laptop + phone back they confiscated as evidence. Obviously they found nothing (although the laptop did have a giant NO GODS NO MASTERS sticker on it lol). I was SA'd in the remand centre, something I referenced in my post part of the transfem voices project. It was the same day nazis turned up in from state parliament with Posie Parker with a big banner saiyng "Destroy Pedo Freaks", clearly aimed at trans women. I lost my cool and broke the "don't talk to cops" rule and said to him "they are the real mass shooters, was it worth arresting me over a twitter joke/made up evidence for swatting? those nazis are the real terrorists" He then said "we need to be sure with you, we just needed to our job", then he said - referring to the Nazi's - "they have some good ideas, they just take them too far". So the man responsible for orchestrating my legal rape defending nazis, my jewish partner - who was washing dishes to alleviate stress - turned and made eye contact with me when he said that. We said nothing more, I learnt my lesson. We needed revolution yesterday. I still have PTSD flashbacks, and get panic attacks just seeing a cop car drive past. None of us are safe. Rapists rule the world, and will not give up their grip on power voluntarily.

this leads to several days of media coverage demanding an investigation, or that Arday is expelled from his post immediately

somehow this accusation that has no effect on the lives of 99.99% of the population becomes FRONT PAGE NEWS in all the newspapers for multiple days, above anything else happening in the UK or the world at large

following intense media scrutiny, Arday resigns his post as a Cambridge professor

today, august 14th, days after resigning, Arday is found dead at his home in Battersea

the British tabloid press remains, and will always be, fucking evil

Went to google more news about professor Jason Arday, and I swear to God the first two pages of research are rancid propaganda sites smearing the man's reputation, up to and including popular Brazilian news magazine Veja.

This article by professor Kehinde Andrews clarifies more about the story of racist harassment Arday has been suffering since he fucking got a teaching job at Cambridge in the first place, in 2023, as the FIRST Black professor in that fucking stupid institution, who sure is taking it's sweet time defending their worker, despite already fucking checking his work for plagiarism and saying he didn't do it:

Several of the academics who harassed this man into suicide do not seem to have suffered at all in their academic careers. Actually, Dave Harris, who lost his Emeritus title for his racist behavior back in 2024 (something the news only call "criticizing Critical Race Theory", instead of "sent racist emails to fellow black academics"), was defended by Plymouth University, where he used to work, and fucking got the title back earlier this year.

2. He was ALSO autistic, and nonverbal for the first 11 years of his life X

The rest of the story unfolds pretty much as described. And he was a fucking Sociologist studying racial equity in schools and academia. They publicly bullied a black autistic man to suicide for being imperfect whilst asserting a place for blackness in academia.

A lot of people are ragging on the 'cable diverted to avoid Dobby's grave after Harry Potter fans raise a stink' thing and while I also love ragging on Harry Potter fans being weird, in this case it looks like the story was completely made up.

tl;dr: There's no evidence the interview that this was mentioned in even exists, no evidence the route of the cable has ever changed, and the whole story seems to originate from one dude's podcast.

The story also broke into mainstream via the Daily Mail, who are ... rarely if ever honest or accurate.
