Oh, it’s nice to meet you too. (/feels relieved that he actually found the person he was looking for. No need to worry about embarrassing himself and trying to figure out how to get out of that) Ah, well I’m here to assist you. I guess we shall begin our journey. It’ll require a lot of walking, but it isn’t too bad once you know where you are planning to go. (/explains as he tried to figure out which locations would be important. Usually he would have done his research ahead but since he was notified about this only a few hours ago, he’s practically winging it) The music building is a bit far from here, but we’ll probably stop by the other buildings as well in case you want to visit the other professors. (/nods his head as he slowly begins to lead the way. As he looks around the hallways, he suddenly becomes awkward and unsure about what to talk about. He’s thinking in his head about what topics to discuss but at the moment he’s more concerned that he will accidentally lead them the wrong way)

{ ' watching the other as he spoke, she offered a light smile because honestly, it felt that he was almost nervous but at the same time relieved. Blinking the dark almond eyes, she almost regretted wearing her heels but she nearly lived in them but with the males legs, she hoped he wasn't one of those lunge walkers that took off in front of her. Nodding her head at his plan of action and was glad to have, what seemed, a normal student. She figured she'd meet some pretty weird people here considering it was an art school. An awkwardness begun to fill the air as they begun to walk and Hyorin grew bored of it. } What are you majoring in? { ' she asked, easily following behind the male as she continued to look around. It was a nice school and the halls were beautiful but she was more excited to see the other buildings. Korea had a sophistication in their architects that America did not; she didn't even know she missed that. }

Curled up in her bed, the female was finally asleep after all the work she had done and honestly, she didn't even care if she was drooling. The white black covered her slim form, the tank top rolling up from her shifting lower into the blanket. Strands of black hair escaped the messy bun as her mouth hung agap in a silent snore. Her roommate had long gone to bed and she had stayed up with the lamp annoying the shit out of her, but sometime after twelve pm, she was done. It was the best feeling ever and as she slid into the bed, she didn't even think as she fell into a slumber. Now she could get some sleep.

Only minutes after she had fallen asleep, a light peeked up on her dresser and then a sound begun to move through her room. The song played loud and her face didn't twist any until it hit the chorus.

An annoyed sound left her lips as she shot up, her eyes shooting daggers at the phone. Who was calling her this early in the morning that it was so damn important that they call? Names fluttered in and out of her mind but her sleep names combined and she didn't even know what she was thinking anymore. 

Leaning over, her strap slipping off her shoulder as her white nails grabbed at the phone. It was a few attempts but finally, she was able to grab it and flop back on the bed, sliding the green button. Pressing the screen against the side of her face, the female let out a yawn as she rubbed at her eyes.

"Yoboseyo..." The husky voice said quietly through the phone, an annoyed sigh breathing from her end. "This better be good. I have five hours of sleep to get and you're keeping me from it." 

It was a subtle threat but she really couldn't tell you what she had just said as her hands moved over her face to try and keep herself awake. Why did they have to call her this late? Why didn't she look at the number? Oh well. They would have got the same greeting. 

Junsu, the grey cat, jumped up on her bed hearing her voice and begun to make a mess of meowing as he moved besides her, his purrs filling her ears. Scratching the top of his head, she smiled some.

It was that time of day again, when the practice rooms would be empty due to no more classes in session. He was positive he shouldn’t use the dance classrooms without permission but he always went to them anyway. The practice rooms in the dorms were always crowded and honestly, Jongup never wanted to practice dances he wasn’t comfortable with near or in front of others. Besides usually people went in groups to perform and all he had was himself so he would sure get people fired up if he did use them. 

Getting up from his bed, he ran a hand through his multi-pink colored hair. He slipped his shoes on, grabbed his backpack already packed with everything he needed, waters, wallet, ID card, ipod, and change of shoes.

Slinging the bag of his shoulder he briskly left his dorm and headed down the hall to exit the building. He pulled his phone from his pocket, checking the time to double check he was leaving at the correct time. He always worried the worst, which was misreading the clock and running into a class in session. 

Pushing the door open to the quiet building, he slipped inside and wandered down the halls. As he walked the lights turned on due to the motion-sensor. Arriving at the room, he peered into the darkness, a smirk playing upon his lips. He walked into plopping his bag onto the table and pulling out his ipod. He put on some of his hip-hop music to get himself loose and ready to practice the dancers he wasn’t really skilled in. 

He busted out into his little warm up routine that consisted of easy hip-hop steps, krumping that escalated to more difficult moves, which was his break dancing. After about five minutes of his warm up he reluctantly switched the music to a softer tune. It was what they were doing in his class and Jongup was really struggling. No matter what he did he always was too sharp rather than graceful and fluid. He basically turned graceful into his street style. 

When the music shut off he almost jumped a mile. He looked over to find a black haired woman looking rather unamused at him, with her arms folded. Breathing heavily, he looked away from the older woman, assuming she was a professor whom was going to scold him. He couldn’t bring himself to speak, he opened his mouth but the words didn’t follow in pursuit like he wanted. 

He flinched at her question, breaking the silence. He chewed on his lower lip at little surprised that she was inquiring about dance rather then asking why he was in there. He gulped before taking a deep breath, “I uh- I’m trained in hip-hop really..” he nodded a bit as he spoke, that’s all he ever did. Back in America he joined a group of street performers that were b-boys, they were his only teachers. He never had official classes until later and it was only for hip-hop, nothing else.  ”A-are you a dance instructor.. or trainer?” he asked fidgeting a bit. She obviously wasn’t his instructor but that didn’t mean she wasn’t one.

Seeing him jump was somewhat surprising but the female held her composure. Did he think he was the only one here? Of course, she could understand that feeling. When she danced, she became someone else because it was a way to escape. But, she didn't sympathize with him. It was that he wasn't aware of his surroundings that was unnerving in some cases but this was a school that she hadn't really heard of there being any bullies. Running with who she did when she was younger, not by her own choices really, she never didn't pay attention to her surroundings.

His mouth opened slightly and the only reason she noticed was because she was looking at his face, his body having frozen since she had appeared. Hyorin wasn't sure why he was scared and then it hit her; oh, he probably thought she was a teacher. Well, she was but that didn't mean she looked like a teacher. Did it? Taking a sneak peek at herself in the mirror, she almost wanted to pout. Did she look that...old? 

Dark eyes moved back to look at the boy as he spoke and she raised her brows some, before nodding some. Hip hop was street and those who knew hip hop were sharp in a lot of what they did or they were too loose. It depended. Popping was different from locking, being as one was sharp and the other was loose. But it was what she thought from watching him. Then she heard his question and she looked away slightly. No, she wasn't. It was silly that she was here but she did know something about dance. She couldn't do what some of these dance instructors could, but if she could give anything to him, she hoped it would be for his own good.

"There are too many dance teachers here that don't really get that their students need to be well rounded, it seems. " The female muttered, annoyance flickering across her face before she moved besides him. Was she intimidating him? Oh well. It was just how she came off. 

"Start that routine again." Hyorin said quietly as she moved in front of him, with her arms still crossed over her chest. It was like he was a broken doll and if she could have seen the actual choreography, it would be easy. But step by step.

It was her first day in the classroom and honestly, it was going horrible. She almost threatened to kill two of her students in the first class and now, she was stressing out because she couldn't find her paperwork. Such a mess. It was like highschool all over again and she was trying to find her homework that she probably never did. But there was a difference; she did do her paperwork.She knew she did. But where it had been, it was gone and the woman was beyond flustered.

Sitting at her desk in the classroom, she laid her head down against the pile of papers and stomped her feet some. It was hissy fit time and honestly, the empty classroom was the perfect place. In a huff, she tilted her head up to blow her bangs out of her face as she looked forward at the door way, her knees together and her mind annoyed. Why did it seem since she came back to Korea everything was ass backwards? Was this fates way of saying that she was not supposed to be here? Not be a teacher? 

Laying her head back down against the table, she didn't even hear the next group of students begin to move in. When they did, she raised her head up some to peer forward at the group of kids before standing up. This was the computer class and honestly, that meant a lot of them just playing with the program for a minute. 

Moving over in front of desk, she lend against it and crossed her legs some as she looked at the somewhat small group. 

"If you have a laptop, start it up. If you don't, please move to one of the computers provided in the back. You're here because you want to get elbow deep in the aspect past singing, past dancing, past being a puppet. You want to know more than just what you do now and that's good thing. If you know how to make music, you will know how to change sounds and before you even sing, or dance, you know the music inside and out. You'll be...educated."

Grabbing the disk off of her desk, she begun to move to the individuals and knelt besides the desk. With quick introductions, she begun to install the program in the laptops. Of course, this program was out of her pocket and ouch did it hurt. But at least she was able to set up an education program with the company so she could use the code for multiple computers on her registration. 

Moving to the next desk, she knelt down and flashed a small smile to the girl.

"Hey. I'm Ms.Hyorin or Ms.Kim, whatever on you're more comfortable with. Let's get this program going so I can get this class actually moving and learning something. " Blowing the air out of her checks, she held the CD back to the girl as she pursed her lips.

Noticing all the items in the other girl’s hand, Bora quickly helped her to take some of the weight off once Hyorin outstretched her arms. “Geez woman. Didn’t I tell you to stop bringing gifts?” She joked, pretending to struggle with the weight of the bags as she brought them towards the couch to set down but was caught by surprise by her best friend’s arm. With a chuckle, she attempted to give an awkward one armed hug back but the items in her hand were tilting her off balance.

"Was it that hard to find?" Bora asked, not thinking that her apartment complex was all that complicated. At least technology these days made it much less worrisome when it came to getting lost. It was also crazy to think that this was the first time she was seeing Hyorin in some years. It was almost so long that she was forgetting if she was still pregnant with Jayden at the time that the other left for America or if the little one had already been born.

Realizing that she was so focused on her past thoughts instead of being a good host, she quickly clapped her hands together. “What can I get you to drink? Water? Juice? Something stronger?” “Mommy, I want juice,” Jayden announced as she squirmed around in Hyorin’s arms. Bora nodded but turned her attention back to the older female. “You?”

Well, she probably had told Hyorin many times to stop bringing so many gifts but she never really got any herself as a child. Sure, a stuffed animal here or there or maybe some clothes but nothing with meaning. She made sure each and everything had a reason for her getting it; she wanted it to be special. It was a childhood scar she was trying to heal by exploiting it on those close to her. Getting hush money was a perfect thing every month and even in America, she had made some investments but that didn't mean she was going to use her money for anything. Bleed her parents for all they were willing to give her.

Holding up her hand, the female's fingers centimeters apart and she peered at the other girl before her hand slipped back under Jayden. 

"A little bit. I'm a bit rusty with finding my way around again." But her sense of direction was never the best, to be quite honest. In her first day at the school, she couldn't even find her way to the front office it was pathetic.  But no one knew she was lost, that was the key. Fake it till you make it. She must have wondered around for an hour before finally finding it.

Focusing on Jayden for a moment, she brushed the small girls hair back and cooed over her looks for a moment before hearing the clap of the hands. Drawing her attention back to Bora, she smiled before tilting her head before hearing the chirp besides her. Smiling some, she set the squirming girl down on the ground before pursing her lips.

"Do you have...tea?" She mused outloud, as she pushed her sunglasses off the front of her face into the black hair. Seeing the black strands, she held out a piece before brushing it dramatically off her shoulders before flashing a grin, the ombre brown hair no longer and covered by the sleek black hair.

"What do you think, hrm?"

After a long afternoon in the lonely dance studio, Hyunjoong finally headed his way down to the University’s cafe area where all of the other kids were on lunch break. With his lunch box tightly gripped in hand, the boy made his way over to one of the round tables outside where he noticed a girl with long, flowing hair was sitting. Not recognizing her by the back of her head, he made his way over, taking a seat across from her and giving off a warm smile.

"Would you mind having some company for lunch, miss?" he asked in a sweet tone, unzipping the top of his lunch box and pulling out a small container of ddeok and ginger along with some warm udon noodles in a thermos. Opening the food containers, a delicious aroma soon swirled through the afternoon breeze, creating an inviting feeling to the lunch table.

"So, I haven’t really seen you around here. Are you new? What’s your major?" he asked kindly before taking a wad of noodles in his chopsticks and slurping them up hungrily.

The female barely noticed the other figure across from her before a shadow moved across the ground and she caught it out of the corner of her eye. Blinking behind the sunglasses, dark orbs flickered up to the male across from her and quickly she took in his appearance. Of  course he was Korean but he was different looking than some would think; he wasn't...well, girly, as a lot of the boys at this school seemed to be. She was pretty sure she saw a boy, but he was so close to looking like a girl she had to do a double take. Perhaps she was just used to American men.

The tone pulled the corner of Hyorin's lips quickly into a polite smile despite the fact that she had sat away from everyone for a reason. But, she didn't bother to point that out as she picked up the fork that she had brought with her from the states and shook her head some, the black strands dancing around her face. 

"Ani. Go ahead." But even if she had said yes, she minded, she wasn't sure he would leave. He had already made a decision as he had already begun to unload the lunch box. Of course, she was sitting here with a simple salad and she felt almost poor compared to the boy. Well, she was watching her figure and besides, Sungjong was the one that packed those meals. She never really got home to do them or the purpose. Making them was a pain in the neck, just like most of Korean cooking. 

But food was what brought people together and that thought swirled around her head as she ducked her head down to get a bite of the salad in her mouth. It was funny, because the smell of the food made her salad taste so much better. It was a mcdonalds salad so that was pretty impressive. 

Watching the boy for a moment behind her shades, the female didn't respond right away as she chewed the lettuce before smiling some, glancing down. What should she say? She wasn't a student but if he thought that, good on him. Though she was young, only twenty three, she was some humored that he thought she was a student. Now she understood when ahjumma's blushed.

"Nae, I just got back here from America a week or so ago. I'm not a student, I teach." It was almost laughable; the hot headed and fleeing Hyorin being a teacher but she wanted to make sure she did something she could be proud of. Right? If she died, she didn't want to just be that girl that was only known for her broken heart and abusive ways.

treasured moments : hyorin & bora

"Mommy, when is Auntie Rinnie coming?" Jayden asked, tugging on the dress that Bora had put on this morning. A broad smile appeared on Bora’s face as she couldn’t help but wonder if her daughter was waiting for Hyorin to show up because she wanted to see her or if she knew that she would be bearing gifts (something that happened more often than not when she came to visit the two). Taking her daughter’s hand in hers, she led her over to the sofa in the living room, sitting down and patting the seat next to her for the little girl to sit on.

She wrapped her arm around the little girl’s shoulder, kissing the top of her head as her small body pressed against her side. “She should be here very soon. She texted me earlier to let me know she was one her way,” she noted, looking down. “Do you want to watch TV with Mommy until she gets here?” The little girl nodded her head excitedly before resting her head against Bora’s thigh. 

As Pororo began playing on the television screen, Bora pulled out her cell phone and mindlessly turned on Candy Crush to pass the time. As much as she enjoyed Pororo, she had watched way too many episodes from the time that Jayden started watching TV until now. However, luckily for her, within five minutes, the doorbell of their apartment rang. “Coming!” She cried out as she looked at Jayden. “Come on. Let’s go get your Auntie, ok?” 

Hand in hand, the two rushed towards the door. Bora peeked through the peephole just to make sure it wasn’t some stranger before she finally opened the door. “Auntie Rinnie!” Jayden cried out, wrapping her arms around the other girl’s leg. “Hey!” Bora exclaimed, awkwardly standing to the side as she waited for her daughter to scoot aside so she could properly greet Hyorin.

America was more expensive than Korea but the things they had were well worth getting it for her Jayden. But, as she held the bags in the crook of her elbow, she almost regretted it just because she had to hold it. With sunglasses on and cut off shorts, a big shirt, she didn’t look like anything she did at work. With the big shirt compared to the blouse, it was like she was back to the beach Barbie she been oh so many years ago when she nearly surfing every day. It was why the smell of the sea stuck with her even though she never really went to the beach since she moved back. But that was going to change hopefully and she could drag Bora or Sungjong with her. It was a long drive but at least she would get to be reunited with the beach.

As the elevator opened, Hyorin moved out and brushed some of the wavy hair off her shoulder as she heaved a soft sigh. Waddling almost to the door, she lifted her arm and pushed the small circle before taking a step back. It took a moment and she heard the others voice and she couldn’t help but tilt her head as she waited for the large door to open.  When the door opened, an excited look crossed the older womans face and she grinned at the small girl.

“Hi baby!” The husky voice said, excitement in her voice before moving into the apartment. Slipping her shoes off, with the little girl attached to her hip, she flashed a grin to Bora as she held out her hands for the other to take the bags that lined her arms off. A small thank you formed on her lips and when most of the bags were off, she knelt down and picked the small girl up, squeezing her gently before placing a kiss on the girls head.

Moving towards Bora, she gave her a gentle one armed hug and smiled at the female.

“I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to find the place.” Setting the little girl down, she pointed to the bags for her to go to before turning to look at Bora before walking around. It was a cute place. Smiling as she moved to look around, she nodded her head some as she looked back at the longtime friend. She hadn’t seen her in what? Two years?

“This is cute!” She exclaimed, moving back over to the woman and glancing at Jayden.

(/after he was given the assignment to give a teacher a tour around the campus, Jungshin is unsure how he feels about it. Sure, it’s great since he’s in the student council and he can fulfill his role as one but he’s never met the person so he has no clue how it’ll turn out to be) She should be around here… (/he searches for the office that he’s supposed to meet up. After a few more steps he finds the place) Um, hello. My name is Lee Jungshin. Are you Miss Hyorin? (/asks hesitantly as he isn’t sure how he would feel if he found the wrong person. To him, humiliation is something that he rarely forgets so it’s usually stuck in his mind) The principal told me a while ago that I would be the one to give you a tour of the school.

{ ' It was one of the first days of her being on the campus. Of course, she had been there before, which is why she knew where the office was but other than that she had no idea where her classroom would be or anything like that. It was like going in blind. But hearing a student was going to shy her around, she wasn't sure if this was a punishment or a blessing in disguise. Teachers here almost seemed awkward and she had even dressed casual. The pair of slacks and the blouse were easy going enough. Crossing her legs, she continues to look through the papers before hearing a voice. Lifting her head up some, she flashed a toothy grin before nodding and rising to her feet. } Ah nae, nae. Nice to meet you Jungshin-ssi. I just need to know where to go rather than wondering around like a nut job.
